- The gift of prophecy is not the same thing as the office of a prophet. A prophet can "The Lord said or showed" because he or she has had a dream or vision, but those with the gift of prophecy speak encouragement by their own faith to edify the church. And every believer should desire the gift of prophecy to be a benefit for the body of Christ.

Yes, I agree because the lord spoke to me 3x in less than 20 seconds and he told me to move. he said "You need to move, "move now" "You need to move now" I wish I could make that up but it felt like something was standing above me or behind me like I had airpods or something in my ears that tone came with urgency and he was serious. The Lord also showed me all the reasons why I needed to move as well but I definitely heard that voice and it was the best decision I have ever made the lord called me into the wilderness and it took me 6 months to move because I didn't understand and I found out later that I was dealing with a church colt! Mafia Leaders warlocks and witches!! and the lord protected me from that and he gave me dreams as visions on top of speaking to me.

Good teaching but I believe that God can still talk to people like Moses. It's the same thing with people who say prophecy ended... Doctrine over one verse is dangerous but it's a great teaching

Go and research what Face to Face means. Ideas without parables and dark sayings. There is not just one verse that states this there are many verses sir that proves this teaching. Doctrine without the holy spirit is just intellect.

Yes, God doesn't only speak via dreams and visions. He is still speaking to his Prophets as he sees fit. We can't afford to put God in a box.

My understanding is that Jesus Christ said that John the Baptist was the greatest of all the prophets who ever lived. But, obviously Moses was a great prophet as well. 🙏
In Luke 7:28, Jesus declared John the Baptist to be the greatest man to have ever lived: "I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John ..." John's greatest strength was his focused and faithful commitment to the call of God on his life.

Did not God speak to Jeremiah and was not he a prophet. Where in jeremiah does it say Jeremiah had a vision or a dream?
Jeremiah did not see the embodiment of God. Face to face means a conversation without parables or dark sayings as if we where talking face to face. Jeremiah did not talk to God face to face sir.
@@fredrickvehe8778 but Jeremiah spoke to God directly from His own mouth there was not a vision God put His word directly in His mouth. When God comes to me it’s not in a dream or a vision but converse with me like I converse with you. Yes I speak I’m tongues and He respond in tongues then with the supernatural interpretation I’m able to hear what I was saying and what God was saying to me just like Jeremiah. I still have dreams but I have direct encounter His words are directly in my mouth as I’m His mouth piece just like Jeremiah was. There are different types of prophets that holds office. Seers get visions and dreams.

Or if he is know as a prophet, he may not say a thing about God and just tell you this is coming. You are teaching well. But sometimes God will have a prophet speak to Government officials and sometimes he will announce his plans in a public setting.
