This would mean no feedback, also Ben giving up the hero business wouldn’t have happened, they would never show Ben giving up the watch, and ending it like that, without him getting it back, I can’t imagine Ben giving up for the respected series would ever work as a proper ending
@@Nickissimo Um, no, it wasn't explained at all, nor was it really implied. Plus Derrick Wyatt has stated that's not the case, and that no one in the crew even liked the idea. "Oh shit, I just loss my favorite alien! I guess I quit." I'll never understand why people even remotely like this theory to begin with. There has to have been something more traumatic that happened later on that we're missing, and thank god again for Derrick's statement, which confirms this.
@@Eacles because it’s a lot quicker and easier to say non canon. Plus stuff about the film is clearly no longer canon as seen with Eon’s species and motives

I think that purple ribbon is from Gwen's lucky girl outfit, I know some will say that gwen should have it but it makes sense for Ben to have a piece of it too I mean they care for much for each other I like that Ben has it 😊 shows how much they really care for each other as a family
When Vilgax called out the Tennysons and the boys were like "which one", reminds me when Reboot Ben said to Alien X "seriously which one, there're lots of us here".
That was both hilarious and badass. Vilgax: "So much suffering. Are you prepared for more Tennyson?" Ben, Carl and Max: "You talking to me ugly?" Badass runs in the family.
I guess this Ben had even more troubled childhood (unlike how easy it's shown here with him going back to school like nothing happened) than prime Ben as his identity was never hidden and was constantly in media right from age 10 unlike the prime ones from 16. One of the possible reasons he got so grumpy by the time he reached 30.
Imagine my disappointment when Ben's parents don't know his identity in Alien Force and are in bad terms with Max once again, it was a harsh introduction to non canon episodes...
i think it goes: Negative 10 is the series finale Secret of the Omnitrix is the finale Story-wise Ken 10 and Goodbye and Good Riddance could be post finale specials (A Ben 10,00 episode and an anthology episode respectively)
secrets can't be the finale since ben clearly unlocked eye-guy in the special, how would he be late as heatblast/xlr8. Plus the ending of secret is in the same background as the wedding.
@@WildWeavile Why would Ben being Eye-Guy mean Secrets isn't the finale? It's just 3 different takes of the opening but I do agree that Ben wouldn't be late as Heatblast and especially XLR8. And what are you talking about, Secrets being in the same backgrounds as the wedding? What does that matter?
@@WildWeavile its still up for debate which alien he actually used, though i do believe its Eye Guy since, well Eye Guy needs some love he just doesn’t get until Omniverse.
I feel as though the reason Vilgax wanted to destroy Ben's town was because of familiarity. @@WildWeavile clearly isn’t clear when theres three different beginnings to the movie. Even if its marginally more chronologically to be before the negative ten, secret feels much more thematically conclusive to the series and makes the series feel like it went out with a bang.
If this was the finale I'd be fine with it. I reckon it was mostly made before Alien Force was okayed for production might've been written during season 1
Honestly, I think the movie should have been the finale. Technically the Destroy all aliens is the proper finale, which bridges the gaps to Alien Force and the 11 year old Ben adventures in Omniverse.
I honestly like to imagine there was almost basically an entire episode's adventure of Ben unlocking Eye-Guy, learning somethings about him before Animo takes Gwen and Max. Ben then pursues Animo and breaks into his Lair with Eye-Guy and that's when the Movie Starts
Yeah i feel you on the school cafeteria time... In my high school we had 20 minutes to eat, but 10 of those were going down the stairs along with 200 people, then at least 5 minutes on line to grab the food...
I know many people won't agree and maybe even judge me, but in my opinion this is the best OG Series episode that was aired, the fact Ben's identity is revealed and so we came to meet his parents and the dog, Vilgax attacking Ben's house simply genious
I think a good community poll would’ve been how many people even **knew** the final episode was non-canon Almost everyone I’ve ever talked about Ben 10 with had no idea it was an alternate timeline. I’ve gotten people to watch Alien Force, and they almost all ask “Wait, why does he have a secret identity? Everyone found out in the last episode of the original show”
While I loved seeing him reveal his secret identity, it felt really out of place that the thing that defeated Vilgax was some sewer explosion from Ben's dad. And the fact that supposedly that's how he stayed destroyed for 30 years. I think narratively, thematically, and emotionally, Secret of the Omnitrix works the best as the series finale.
honestly, i'd like to see an alternate alien force continued from this finale, where Ben's secret being revealed when he's younger either leads to a Ben 23 situation, or where he goes more into training to help protect his loved ones (Similar to how theyre targeted in ultimate) from a young age, leading to a personality like his first 10,000 counterpart. And in turn, there could also be focus on Max seeing Carl's potential for being a plumber (as he does have the same ways of thinking in a fight as max and ben, seen in this episode), and recruits him for the rebuilding of the plumbers, leading to stories based on Carl and Max reconnecting and Max attoning for the neglect in Carl's youth. Also the dynamic would be adding another element to the previously touched upon Ben plotline, with Max possibly supporting Ben diving headfirst into full time hero/plumber work, and Carl trying to keep Ben's innocense, wanting to protect his son from losing himself the same way as his father
You think an explosion in the sewers could kill Vilgax? He’s survived his ships exploding twice with one of them being by a nuke and an high tech grenade in the face
@@Nameless82284 I'm not talking about her being dead I was talking about Max hiding it even though Verdona knew and he knew she was an alien. But you are right as far as alien force goes at best it was still in early stages I dont even know if anodites or Verdona were even planned that early.
I think as a kid I never realised this was really the end of classic series. That moment with Ben and grandpa shaking hands is a reallllly nice moment, seeing him more as his 10 year old grandson but as the hero he’s seen during the summer. What an episode despite the off model art style
Honestly, I never treated this as canon, mainly because it begins and ends with comic covers which I think is a way of saying that it's not canon. (I think they used comic covers for Gwen 10 but I don't remember.)
@@keelanbarron928 how exactly does anything in Alien Force contradict the ending of classic? If Destroy all Aliens is canon (which it actually is) than Ben’s parents had their minds frazzled and forgot everything that previously happened including knowing Ben’s secret.
Tbf as kuro said, their production schedules likely overlapped with one another so one could presume they weren’t even aware of what episodes they were doing
or because he's not an old man watching tv 24/7 plus I think grandpa max is like sixty in os and like 65/66 in ben 10 ultimate alien force and omniverse and 60 isn't that old soooo
Btw, something I figured out a couple of months back. One of Ben's catch phrases is "It's hero time." And then he hits a watch. It's hero *time*. Time, a watch. I never knew that until a few months back where I saw someones comment on that. My stupidity surprises me sometimes...
Perhaps an amalgam of Ben 23 from Omniverse with ultimate alien. Since Grandpa has already guided him, it could focus on him trying to get back to finding the Hero in him while finding out how Grandpa disappeared
I have this idea for a fanmade alien, basically, what if one of Ben's aliens had the power to control Limits? Like say Ben becomes this alien and uses it to make it so that Rook or Kvein have no limits and can use their full power in battle. I'd like to call this alien "Binder" because his appearance is that of one. His homeworld is: Ligansapiea and his Species is called the "Ligansapiens" What do you think of this idea Kuro? I would love to hear your opinion!
@@WildWeavile You have to consider a few things about the reboot: 1. It's a CN show so they could do what they wanted with it. 2. It's art still mimiced what they do with most of their current stuff, but if you check the animation and writing, you could see effort was still put to give the show some Ben Ten flare, especially near the end. 3. The writers and other crew were probably just having fun with some of the features from the other original series, like aliens, characters and such. Not defending it, but the reboot was basically proficied with how much back and forth Ben Ten had, and how CN wouldn't let it die peacefully(Five movies ain't no joke no matter how low budget or uncanon, and don't get me started on retcons).

During the comic book sequences, I thought that the "narrator" was Paradox before he met Ben in alien force. As for whether this episode was canon or not, I think it is canon to the Ben 10,000 timeline.
In a hypothetical scenario where all the Classic endings are all canon, I’d say the order would be: Secret of the Omnitrix (Gold version), Negative 10, Goodbye and Good Riddance (before Vilgax comes to Earth), Destroy All Aliens, Race Against Time and ending with Goodbye and Good Riddance (after Vilgax comes to Earth). Obviously this doesn’t work at all, but it’s fun to theorise
"Now that is a cool moment, I'll give them that, I guess it is cool for Ben to show off in front of people who tormented him." These quotes are just the funniest thing to ever exist

While non-canon I always felt "Goodbye and Good Riddance" acts as a nice epilogue to the Original Series and calling it a Lost Episode is really fitting as it was most likely originally intended to be the canon finale but was reworked into a "what if?" episode once Alien Force began production. Also it makes much more sense "Secret of Omnitrix" to come after "Ben 10 vs the Negative 10" as that was clearly the creator intention and it works better thematically, especially when you consider the order they aired during Ben 10 Week: 15th April - "Goodbye and Good Riddance" 16th April - "Secret of the Omnitrix" 17th April - "Race Against Time" 18th April - "Ben 10 Returns" The way I see it, and what the creators most likely intended, is: "Ben 10 vs the Negative 10" = The Season 4 Finale "Secret of the Omnitrix" = The Series Finale "Goodbye and Good Riddance" = A non-canon epilogue
I wonder if the bellwood shots were ever reused in alien force, they seem like they could be reused Oh, another comment asking to keep track of all the alien tech Kevin gets to "work on his car"

You know, there’s something I never thought about regarding Ben 10,000. Did Ben and Gwen get to meet Professor Paradox? In Alien Force, Paradox warns Gwen to never time travel, because time traveling is either “for fools or immortals”. Yet future Gwen pulled their past selves into the future. Food for thought and discussion
Paradox wasn't thought up when "Ben 10,000" was made but the answer your question, the reason Paradox interfered in "Time Heals" was because Gwen went back with to change history while in "Ben 10,000" she only brought kid Ben to the future to get adult Ben to lighten up.
9:30 You know I know this episode is least likely canon ending leading to AF, but wouldn't it be funny if that's why Ben started shouting his aliens names? Just cuz he got so sick and tired of people calling them lame names? So he's like "When I go alien I'll make sure to shout loud af so people know HOW TO NAME THEM!"

@@tomthompson2038 Ben removed the Omnitrix because he lost Feedback, it's explained in Omniverse
@@Nickissimo no I mean how he removed it cuz gwen says it was very difficult
This would mean no feedback, also Ben giving up the hero business wouldn’t have happened, they would never show Ben giving up the watch, and ending it like that, without him getting it back, I can’t imagine Ben giving up for the respected series would ever work as a proper ending
@@Nickissimo Um, no, it wasn't explained at all, nor was it really implied. Plus Derrick Wyatt has stated that's not the case, and that no one in the crew even liked the idea. And thank god he did, because while I can understand Ben feeling distraught at the thought of losing Feedback and not wanting to fight for a while, him straight up removing the Omnitrix because of this always sounded completely ridiculous to me. 😳For a second I thought you were a Bwen fan👀
When Vilgax called out the Tennysons and the boys were like "which one", reminds me when Reboot Ben said to Alien X "seriously which one, there're lots of us here".
That was both hilarious and badass.
Vilgax: "So much suffering. Are you prepared for more Tennyson?"
Ben, Carl and Max: "You talking to me ugly?"
Badass runs in the family.
I guess this Ben had even more troubled childhood (unlike how easy it's shown here with him going back to school like nothing happened) than prime Ben as his identity was never hidden and was constantly in media right from age 10 unlike the prime ones from 16.
One of the possible reasons he got so grumpy by the time he reached 30.

this episode always gave me a weird, surreal, dream-like vibe even before i knew it was non-canon.
i also don't think they used to air it very often in re-runs, so seeing it always felt bizarre
I feel as though the reason Vilgax wanted to destroy Ben's town was because of familiarity. He's battled Ben so often and has both lost and probably been humiliated across the galaxy so it would make sense he'd feel somewhat petty, shifting his goal from 'Aquire the Omnitrix' to 'Aquire the Omnitrix....and as a bonus I can ruin the life of the weilder'.
Yeah this episode confused the hell out of me, this alt canon stuff wasn’t something i could rap my head around and it kept making me question my ben was surprised vilgax came back in alien force. Honestly, I agree
Yes! The final og Ben 10 episode!
Hi buddy
@@bobbyahmad5197 😁
Hi buddy
I think a good community poll would’ve been how many people even **knew** the final episode was non-canon
Almost everyone I’ve ever talked about Ben 10 with had no idea it was an alternate timeline.
I remember being confused from this episode as a kid because I was like “Is Vilgax dead?” And then he showed up in Alien Force
You think an explosion in the sewers could kill Vilgax? He’s survived his ships exploding twice with one of them being by a nuke and an high tech grenade in the face
I think Gwen's father said that everyone thought Verdona was unaware of Max's work despite her being an alien herself.
But she was still implied to be dead. Now obviously Alien Force didn't came into mind here so Max's wife was hinted to be dead.
@@Nameless82284 I'm not talking about her being dead I was talking about Max hiding it even though Verdona knew and he knew she was an alien.
Even in Alien Force Gwen's dad was saying Max still kept his Plumber Work secret from Verdona, I think he said something along the lines of "dad thought he hid that from you."
But you are right as far as alien force goes at best it was still in early stages I dont even know if anodites or Verdona were even planned that early.

@@WildWeavile You have to consider a few things about the reboot:

Obviously this doesn’t work at all, but it’s fun to theorise

While non-canon I always felt "Goodbye and Good Riddance"
acts as a nice epilogue to the Original Series and calling it a Lost Episode is really fitting as it was most likely originally intended to be the canon finale but was reworked into a "what if?" episode once Alien Force began production.
Also it makes much more sense "Secret of Omnitrix" to come after "Ben 10 vs the Negative 10" as that was clearly the creator intention and it works better thematically, especially when you consider the order they aired during Ben 10 Week:
15th April - "Goodbye and Good Riddance"
16th April - "Secret of the Omnitrix"
17th April - "Race Against Time"
18th April - "Ben 10 Returns"
The way I see it, and what the creators most likely intended, is:
"Ben 10 vs the Negative 10" = The Season 4 Finale
"Secret of the Omnitrix" = The Series Finale
"Goodbye and Good Riddance" = A non-canon epilogue
I wonder if the bellwood shots were ever reused in alien force, they seem like they could be reused
