Sir so shouldn't we be using dental burs(bladed) during crown cutting(RCT treated teeth) as it mstly involves dentin?Y do they provide diamond burs in the crown cutting bur set instead🤔
Hi Nikita. I too mentioned in one slide that Diamond points are used for both intra and extra coronal preparation. The text books mentions that Blades are most efficient cutting the dentin. They are not saying that you should not use it for Enamel. They just mentioned this point with respect to efficiency.
Pls watch the first video. It helps to know why everyone recommends diamond abrasives :)

Sir diamond abrasives having negative or positive rake angle?
Only blades have rake angle. May I know where you found this question ?
