I'm so thankful your family took sweet Sophie in! She really needed a furever family! Also, for Chewy, I hope this new med really helps that sweet boy! I have heard that dinovite really also helps dogs with skin issues.. its basically a vitamin you put on their food or with their food. Idk if you have tried it or not. I am just so happy to be watching your wonderful videos! I think every single o e of them is great! Plus if I had kids, they too would never be seen on social media. You have to protect them as much as possible, and I greatly respect you for that! ❤❤❤

Clipped ear is done to identify feral cats. Our feral no matter how cold it was she refused to stay inside. Got her a heated home in the barn up high so raccoons couldn’t get her. When we sold our buyers took her on which was so nice. We hear she is still so happy. You are such a sweet soul to keep her safe and in her neighborhood. Keep up the great work! We all love your videos, very motivating and inspiring.
Such a good point, she is feral and she does NOT like sleeping in her kitten house we built her inside. She loves to come in and get all the love and food and then she cries at the door so I let get go. She always comes back. Also, I believe that she is a lot like your cat in that this is her neighborhood and the past two owners didn't want to uproot her, I mean, what if they moved to a condo? She would hate that. I understand and have empathy for their situation, but also happy we can support her. If we moved, we would most likely tell the renters that would take this house to take care of her.. unless we moved to vineyards then she might love that. Only time will tell.

Hi! He sleeps a lot and I don't like to wake him up but if he is up I will share him. I am sensitive of his condition and I guess I am protective of the disgusting things some people say on here and other places about him. He is our baby and his illness is very hard on him. The last thing I want is for people to say things about his appearance. For that reason I have not been showing him. 💕

They all get drops monthly, we have not had an issue with fleas yet! Praying it stays that way.
My son in law had two cats when him and my daughter got married. One is Sophie, the other was Zoe. Zoe got sick and she is longer with them. But they still have Sophie. And now they have two dogs too. Their Sophie is very vocal too. We live in the country and inherited a few cats. They have now grown to at least ten to fourteen all the time. Right now there are four kittens. I also have three small dogs. One hates cats. These are all feral cats. Some not so feral. Most of them run from me. I feed them and give them treats everyday. My husband complains to me about how much we spend in food and treats. Our one neighbor we have used to give them a little food. But he’s older now. So I took over and I feed them way more and the treats a few hours later. And they are usually around before it’s time for food and treats. I’m an animal lover too. I would love a big dog, for security, but my husband said no. We live on the side of a mountain. And our fenced yard is small. But we have almost six acres. We did have a huge puppy someone dumped, who came here. But she chewed on us constantly. And it really hurt. So we took her to the animal shelter and donated money to get her spayed. And I kept track of her to make sure she got adopted. I really wish she didn’t chew us up. I wanted to keep her. We have since had other dogs show up here. And they chased all the cats away. So I had to keep calling the animal shelter about them. They don’t do anything. The shelters where I live are all full. And I understand people just don’t have money to feed their families and their animals. I’m hoping for a big nice puppy to show up here that doesn’t chase all the cats away. They were here first. One of the cats was a kitten. And we have trees all around. She was in a tree, when the dogs I kept calling about. There was a male and a female. The male was annoying. He barked at her for an hour and half. I was trying to get dinner. And they were behind our house and that’s all I heard for an hour and a half. The female would go bark with him sometime. But we turned the hose in them and soaked him. And he didn’t stop. So if a dog shows up here that doesn’t like cats, they better keep moving.
Lol my husband is not a fan of cats, so I can relate. Thank God he loves me and allows me to be the cat lady my heart needs to be. Often times dogs that act out that way have been abused and need training camps to get rehabilitated. I am so sorry you had to take the puppy to a shelter, I know that must have been very hard for you. I love that you have so many cats around you, we have that in some neighborhoods and I somehow always make friends with the women who keep their eyes on our communities feral cats. So grateful to have you here friend! Keep up the good work 💕

Sophie is a gorgeous cat 🐈. My cat Lucy was a stray, We got her when she was a few months old when we realized that her mom died. We couldn’t bear the thought that she wouldn't survive either. We took her to the doctor and when she reached the right age we sterilized her. Apart from a period when she needed to take medication and live at home, the rest of the time she lives outside in the patio because she doesn't like it at home. She has her house, her toys and of course we make sure she always has fresh water and food. She had learned in freedom and could not live inside the house, she was crying all time asking to go out.
That's how Sophie is, she loves to be outside. She comes in to eat but then usually wants to go outside, the other day she slept on the couch by the fire when it was raining and I looked at her like she was a new born baby 😻 So cute!

Coming soon! We moved all my decor to storage when we moved houses and its so hard for me to access it. My husband is going today to get all my spring and summer stuff so I can actually decorate. It has been super annoying to have to go across town to get things. We will be building a storage solution here so I can decorate when I find time.
Where do you get all your recipes?
I usually just go to the store and pick up what is in season, then I add a protein! Usually I think of flavors after that, like coconut, spicy, fresh... and then I put it all together. If I need help with something like a sauce I will google and then make my own additions.

Honestly, what's wrong with people who throw their pets out the door to fight to live. If you take on an animal and for some reason can't care for it anymore it's your responsibility to make good arrangements for the animal to have a continued good life.
I agree, I am not sure what happened with the original owner but the renters down the street were kind and took her in. I understand they cant take an animal and she wasn't actually theirs. Just happy we can feed her and love on her.

Im confused...they just left the cat homeless and with no food? Thats heartbreaking. Or did decide to take the cat over before they moved?
I was told they just left the cat. She was actually owned by a family a couple blocks away and she loved the people down the street so they kept her. When we called the owner (after getting her chip read) they said they moved and we could keep her. She is kind of all of ours now but we feed her and she comes in at night. She is very sweet

Are you sure that is a female cat? A left ear tip is usually a male. Someone once told me, “Females are always right”!
Hi! Our neighbor took her to the vet to have her checked out and she said it was a girl but it be honest, I didn't really check. She may very well be a boy because she is so loving and typically the boys are better cuddles than my girls. My girls are so independent!

I'm in cat rescue, i hate when people abandon their cats. Please make sure Sophie is spayed before you put her back outside. IF her previous owners abandoned her chances are they never got her spayed. I think cats should strictly be indoors there are too many dangers outside. The number one cause of death for outdoor cats is getting hit by cars but if you are going to let her go outside please get her microchipped in case she ever gets lost.
I think she is spayed because of her "tipped" ear. Well, where I live that's what that means, might be different elsewhere.
Hi! Yes, she was taken to our vet and checked out. She has a chip and a record of vac and everything. She is very healthy and 100% an outdoor cat, I can't force her to stay in, she just will just cry. She likes to lay in the sun and chase butterflies. The whole neighborhood knows her and everyone loves her. We take care of food, water and shelter on the chance she wants to come in, which she has been doing more.
