I just started learning this song and the clean parts really started to get to me along with the end part of that solo and Chain is making sure my confidence doesn’t get destroyed by allowing himself to get hit lol thanks man.
This was one of the first songs I learned on guitar, one of my first major like skill breakthroughs too because I grinded the clean sections for weeks and now they’re ingrained in my brain forever

I first heard this song when I was 4 on the radio
yes, the clean arpeggiated chords are always strange shapes on A7X and without learning them in advanced they are hard to figure out on the spot as you are doing them. On the Betrayed song (which was written in memory of Dimebag) that you also did it took me some time to learn them as it was a first time in my life I saw shapes like those
