This is a bit dumb up put here. But it needs to be said. Drag Challenge and events like it are super important to Australian car culture. There are plenty of people like me who are into cars and happy to spanner. But we don't goto drag meets ever/ hang out with the boys every weekend We wouldn't watch dedicated drag Top fuelers and what not. But when i know it's a car we all drove as a kid.. or the fact it has to survive a week in the street .. or it's got something built by Scotty, Benny, Al That's what brings in the viewers. That's what gets me seeing the sponsors and that's what makes me think "oh yeah I've seen that shop" when I'm buying parts. Thus keeping Aussie cars alive. It's also what made me learn about Bubba's Double Dog
I’m super impressed with the coverage of this event, you guys are doing a brilliant job and to all involved in hosting and competing it’s been great viewing
This Rocks. Wish I was There. Look forward to sitting down with a coldy and watching Drag Challenge. Our own season kicks off next week in Motueka New Zealand Cant wait . Starting with the Gasser Challenge. Bring it...
Loving this coverage SM. My first car in 1986 was a Capri, great car when it wasn’t broken😂. Watching the blue number in this video is bringing back memories of bussing it …😅. My mates loved it but called it the Crapi.
Looks like it was a good day. Would've gone, but $50 to watch was a bit much for me. You need a ticket that just covers the drags without the burnouts.
Hats off to all the Street Machine crew for pumping these quality vids out! Bring on day 4!
100%, so much behind the scenes work here.
Woody!!! Kevo needs to come down for a Vic Drag Challenge brother??? 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
These videos are great...but they're missing something.
Woody and Kevin, with Allan along for the ride.
Any chance you could leave the times up on the screen for longer than a nanosecond so a bloke can see both lanes times n speeds...

You can’t past the double dog

Love bubba doing the interviews!
Would have been nice to hear the set up in that celica, apart from a billet block and big turbo 😂
Thanx bro and sorry I’ll make sure I get more details on the cars brother :)

Great day out and well organised event and track.
great coverage again guys
I think Scotty had stars in his eyes chasing Mark Arblaster. Just needed to back off to get that 8.50.
The ute looks good Scotty!
Was stoked to see that! Should be some cool episodes out of this event for Carnage.
Can't wait to see Scotty's episodes on this
Can't wait to see the action today at Heathcote. Awesome coverage guys
Great event with good coverage. Why is it that a lot of cars don't l leave the line together .
It is because they are not racing each other. Elapsed Time is the only thing that matters. Reaction times and who crosses the line first don't matter.
would love to see you guys have a chat with the Lobuc Racing boys in their Nitrous Stato, or even just some of the "less fast" cars in general
Great content SM team. Look forward to seeing tomorrow’s action.
One of the Dandy engines cars will win outright with the boys from Queensland in the K24 Honda power Celica will be in the top 3 outright 😊
Well deserved adam in the Capri record pass 7-13 congrats brother
9.03 minute mark , red hkish wagon s launch made my day , and im a ford guy 😂
I seen the blue Capri was still in the pits when I was leaving after the burnouts last night
The Bend would be the only track that displays in KPH?
