YES!! A new TMB video. Thank you Ricky. You should try a Gasket/Ghilli combo, they work well together when 2-hand soloing. I love TMB so much I can’t wait for my >100 lbs of CTG stuff to arrive from their Unbreakable crowdfund.
15:10 Blind Strike: At start of turn, this Unit deals # Dmg to strongest adjacent UNIT. The Baddie next to him should have taken 1 Dmg. But thanks for presenting TMB. I really liked your videos about Hoplomachus! Keep up the great work!
Just discovered your channel as I was looking for a proper video for Pax Porfiriana. Excellent stuff. Looking forward to checking out some more of the games you’ve covered as there are a few that I haven’t heard of that look interesting. Cheers.
Great playthrough, was playing this game yesterday using Dart and Tantrum against Nom. One thing I did notice is that Gasket’s bleed skill doesn’t exhaust, so you could have used it throughout the encounter
Hey mister “box of delights” . First I don’t like your channel, I love it! I heard you say “ tmb is the boardgame you play the most solo”. You having so many boardgames, what makes you coming back to this game the most? I came across your channel some three years ago learning to play Mage knight. And stuck around since then. Thank you.
great question! Firstly the variety and replayability: each time you play with different gearlocs, different encounters, different tyrants, it feels very different; and secondly the depth: there are lots of interactions and rules to get your head around. I love that.
@@BoxofDelights thanks for the reply. I’ve bought base game, 40 days and age of tyranny. But I’ve heard very polarising opinions. I know, like all opinions are right. It’s or a very deep complex game, but if you min max and essentially shortcut the game it becomes very boring. Having watched the games you yourself like to play(test) they are always complex. So you haven’t encountered this in the game?
@@kevindepauw9110 I haven't encountered this, no. For me, the game tells a great story every time. But, it is also true that not every game is for every person, as everyone has different tastes.
Quick tip - if you plan to increase attack or defense and have multiple training points to spend, you can make the attempt for each point you have to spend. So even if you fail on the first try you can try again on subsequent points
Thanks for the playthrough! I love your TMB playthroughs. At 21:45 Dart is riding Boar’d and you moved the pair of them with Dart’s dex. I’ve found the rules a bit vague about this. I was playing that I could only move Boar’d with his 2 free movement whether Dart was riding him or not and if I wanted to move with Dart’s dex then I would have to dismount first. It looks like I’ve been handicapping myself a bit.
Hey Ricky, you made a couple of mistakes with gasket. At 18:34 you only use hydro if you decide to use one or more skills with the water droplet printed on it. You still can choose not to use your results. And a little bit later for the cut die you place a bleed effect die on the baddie affected, not the skill die. In addition your skill dice don't exhaust with gasket. Well that's all. Thanks for playing more too many bones.
I believe on the "right out of the gate" encounter you should have put the first baddie in the blue spot on the battlemat, not on the green (the one marks as (1), not (4) :)
No way! This is exactly the video I've been hoping to watch, but no channel has done. Ricky, you sir are a Saint and a scholar. 👍👍👍

😳 I’ve played that skill wrong for so long!
oh, great spot! thank you ;)
I gotta play this game again. Forgot how great it was.. awesome play through btw.
Love some too many bones! Thanks Ricky!
my pleasure !
Haven't been to your channel in a while....Ricky, the audio and video is insane! Love it.
thank you. And welcome back ! R.R.

Very nice play through - thank you!
My 2 favorite characters! Very nice!

Good call!
*…and you use a “bleed effect die” so you get the skill die back immediately.
@@pushaplane oh yes, completely missed this; thank you !
29:43 I see the future (the cards in the table)
30:38 wow
TMB, Gasket, Darl. Please enjoy!! Thank for your playthrough. Great.

nice tip !
You need to try out the Day 1-3 adventures from Age of Tyranny - adds some nice variety!
maybe next time ;)
just so good!!!!

Yes, Boar'd certainly helps Dart make the most of positional play.

Good spots! Those are mentioned in subsequent parts so you have a good eye. Hope you enjoy the rest of the series... R.R.
Any one know of any guides to gasket? I can’t seem to find any.

Even more than Mage Knight?! Don't say that!
MK will be back........ ! ;)
Thanks Ricky - missed this :) Do you still play MK solo from time tom time ?
I do ! and love it. More recently TMB has been getting more table-time, but MK is still a treat when I get the chance to play :)
Putting out Gasket for the first time now, let's go!
good luck !

Oh duh .. . you end up fixing it :)
