I think that it’s maybe two types of media that compliments and fulfills eachother. I also really love both - I could never choose a side haha!

I'm a gamer and reader and I think, the best middle point when you don't like video games but will you want to play a story, you need to try RPG. Corectly Tabletop RPG, like D&D or something like that. Because tabletop roleplay games are such better than ever what I play before! (You need only friends or other people but you can for fist time try gamebooks like Lone Wolf) And this is on the other side best for gamers who don't like reading books.

Maybe Baldur’s Gate 3 also is perfect, because it’s the video game version of DnD basically :D

@@viccsi Basically yes :D But, I think BG3 is not a good for start, because new players verry possible can't know how to play that game. (I didn't play D&D 5e becase I don't like d20 systems and I make many mistakes)

Every game is a unique journey , and if you open your heart and imagination to it, you will feel great joy and satisfaction.

For myself I ended up reading books after having played the games. Such as The Stolen Throne and The Calling by David Gaider (Dragon Age) as well as The Last Wish and Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski (The Witcher). When I first got into the fantasy genre I was drawn to the magic in them (literal spells and stuff), but these days I'm more of a sword and board fan 🧙‍♂
