I absolutely love this series. So informative and thorough. Thank you for educating all of us. We have pocket American Bullies, is there any of this information that doesn't directly transfer over to American Bullies ? Unfortunately I haven't found much information on bully coat color thats backed by 20+ years of experience & undeniable proven science.
A geneticist told me that dogs that have the red eye glow are either full lilacs (visually silver in color) or a lilac carrier(any color). So if you have a silver dog with red eye glow, then that’s a full lilac. If you have say a fawn with red eye glow, they are lilac carriers.
my frenchie is a black and white pied frenchie, her mom was black and carries brindle, pied, and cream and her dad carries lilac and cream. i’m hoping you can help me understand what my dog is carrying and her possible puppy phenotypes? Thank you! i hope to hear back
Mistr James, you shoud have to use CoCo not bb for chocolate gene, becouse its confusing when dd and bb is Isabela not Lilac. I know you have explained it but..... And Can you explain detail what is Em1 or d1d2 ??
@@LoveMyPupsWhat best breeds with that type of gene code? I saw where you mentioned you could get no chocolate breeding with a new shade Isabella, with this type of lilac. Also, can you make a video explaining why breeders promoting no brindle, no pied is such a big thing and what indicates this in a pup as a non-carrier of these two genes? Thanks for your videos by the way they have been extremely helpful.
So even the non exotic dogs that don’t carry exotic colors can possibly produce some exotic colors? I had been under the impression on two blues made blues. And two lilacs make lilacs. And two chocolates make chocolates. I have been wanting to know if a blue Merle and a chocolate could make ranges of lilacs, blues, and choc Merle’s? I have so many questions before I buy my “dams “ I really hope you or your wife could give me a call or message it’s hard to check for these comments I’m not sure how to very well
