    At the beginning of the jungle scene, you can see Bheem's friends are brewing something. It is the tranquilizer made from certain flowers as a backup.

      @esotericacinema  5 месяцев назад +3

      Got it, that makes sense. Appreciate you pointing that out, would be interested to know what kind of flowers it's made from and if they are only native to India?

      @@esotericacinemaseems to be the same flower that’s used on Bahubali jr by his gf for a brief while. Generally people of the forest and tribals have a very strong understanding of natural medicines and plants and their uses. India’s ancient medicine practices are still used as alternate medicine today.

    SS Rajamouli with the same team directed Baahubali series before RRR. Baahubali is the record creating Indian movie, loved unanimously across the country. If you just watch Baahubali as a movie without questioning you will enjoy it. There is rental version of Baahubali in original language Telugu in RUclips. Netflix always releases the dubbed versions of Rajamouli movies. This made Rajamouli frustrated. But if you watch Baahubali in original language, you will feel the musical beauty of MM Keeravani(He is called as MM Kreem in North India). Baahubali music is really so pleasing

    In the introduction of Bheem u can see his tribes people are brewing a sedative concoction, the scene shows the fruit of datura plant in the concoction , which belongs to the nightshade plant family. It’s a narcotic plant and was used as sedative in the olden days.

    Is this the one Ryan did a five minute review for initially? Loved this review. Also I would guess Jason's hair is about 23 inches long here and I would like some sort of medal if I'm right.

    Love the analysis guys: let me try to clarify some stuff yoh guys were talking about
    1) Hindi and Telugu is not similar languages. A person who only speaks only hindi or Telugu wouldn't understand one another. Netflix took just the Hindi version for streaming and Rajamouli was super angry about it. Funny thing is he expressed his angry during an interactive session with the Russo brothers, that was hosted by Netflix 😂
    2) It is indeed kind of a natural chloroform they through at the tiger. Just after Bheem's introduction scenes by the river (the upside down shot), there is a brief scene were you can see they are making that potion (which might look like cooking with a spoon but it is not).
    3) Some people mentioned that British were treated like comic villians and very shown absolute brutal monster. Well the truth is, British rule in Indian which spanned for almost 200 years (ended only in 1947) were more or less kind of comic villians ( stuff those mates did in our country spans from comic egoistic stuff to outright demonic). Our first revolt for Indipendence took place in 1857. The captured prisoners were tied to the cannons and fired at point blank.
    Year 1919: British kills thousands of men, women and children who were peacefully protesting against an oppressive act passed by the colonial British govt. The incident is called Jallianwalla Bagh massacre.( Kindly look it up).
    Infact, what ever they shown British are doing in the movie is actually pales in comparison to what they actually did.
    On a side note: There is a brilliant movie called Sardar Udham, which was released in 2021 that showcased the story of Jalianwala Bagh Massacre which can be found in Amazon. Kindly what it if possible
    Keep up the good work lads 👍🏽

    22:00 Hindi and Telugu are not similar languages. Also there is so much visual and character symbolism in this movies that goes over the head of even Indians, i don't think ppl outside of India wl fully get the references. just one out of several character symbolisms: In the raju introduction scene, he is introduced with a fire reflection shot in his eye ball, later when he jumps into the pool of people and searching for the red shirt guy who threw rock from atop watch tower, the sound we here in the background is of an Eagle, if u look around in the scene there is no eagle there. raju is like an Eagle, he catching his prey, he is laser focussed on this prey thorughout the scene just like an eagle, while the mob is hitting him or he is hitting the mob he doesn't even look at them, his eyes are always focussed on his prey. just like an eagle would pluck out fish out of water, he plucked out one guy in a sea of mob. after he returns the prey he calms himself down with water in a red bucket name fire(fire safety bucket). I can state at least 10 other such scenes that just goes over the heads of most viewers!! who said Blockbuster films don't hv depth?

      Great observation! Thanks for bringing that to our attention and thanks for watching. I'm sure there's a number of interesting flourishes throughout that could be identified upon repeat viewings that add further depth.

    ram's dad is chiranjeevi another giant action star and he was always pudgy when kicking arse of bandits and corrupt politicians and dancing
    ntr jr also hit the gym hard and is muscly here his previous action movies with rajamouli he's rotund enough
    rajinikanth is like a million years old and he still is doing action films
