I wish we can just go back to the old good days. Where we have true love and good music. No Boko Haram, No herbsmen / farmer issues, No Bandits issues, No Unknown Gunmen issues, No IPOB and ESN issues, No Oduduwa Nation issues etc. A time we were all proud to be Nigerian. God bless Nigeria.
If I say make thunder fire you now, people won't know you actually deserve it. Thunder where are thou... You can still submit your comment without mentioning IPOB/ESN.
Oh my! Alex Zitto just got that Bob Marley voice. I am thrilled to be part of the oldies music. Alex Zitto, Alex O. Chris Mba, Tony Okoroji, Felix Liberty etc.
Filled with nostalgia, I'm struggling hard to accept that we will never have these past years back. Those were the best last years of childhood in my view. We had no phones nor were there social media. We gathered to play in the neighborhood. Memories o!
Oh my God...I miss my childhood 😩This song brings back so many beautiful childhood memories....Awwww💕💕💕💕 love and miss all the singers from the 80s and 90s🥰🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘😘😘😘, those years we had REAL music..
My brother no one can forget those good old days back in Nigeria fir any reason. These are when I was growing up in Ibadan those days. Great great musicians in Nigeria back in the days.
Tears of joy... Back memory lane.. Was living in isolo ire-akari estate Lagos that year. I was btw 8 and 9 years old life was so good and simple.... I miss those days 😭.... What has happened to 9ja today only God knows n can save us
i remember hearing this song on radio when i was little and my aunt was forcing me and my younger sister to eat hot porridge and it was also raining that day
I was coming to work this morning and this song just came to my mind. When I got to the office, I went straight to u tube and search for it. What I enjoy most in this song us the " wo oh wo oho
That is exactly what happened to me this refreshingly cold Sunday evening. This song just came to mind out of the blues...it opened a floodgate of memories. I just had to head straight for RUclips and here it is!
Definitely one of my all-time greats! First noticed Alex Zitto when he was doing backup for Duchess Maria in the early 80s. Was a very good dancer too back then. I believe he has both Nigerian and Ghanaian roots. I wonder where he is ❤️
Reminds me of premier music. Those songs we listened to while growing. I was very young but I remember the song well. The song is taking me back to Kaduna where I grew up. Good old days
My three year old Daughter Bolouebi connected with and loved this song from the first time I played it to her... Even babies appreciate the tickle! She always asks for a replay.
Our airwaves aren't doing these guys any good at all, at least there should be a day dedicated in every week to playing all these good old music, so much of them mennnn! blacky, raskimono, alex o, christy essien, daniel wilson, funmi adams the list is endless...............................
All I have to say is "THANK YOU " Premier music for being exceptionally good at discovering and promoting great musical talents in Nigeria in the 1980s to 1990s.
How I wish there could be a show where these past hero's could sing live .. Star pls promote a mega show where only Old musicians will feature and bring back old good memories
GOD BLESS THE 90'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD MUSIC!!!!!! NOTIN CAN REPLACE THE 90'S AM BLESSED TO EXPERIENCE THAT GENERATION AND BE A PART OF IT!! GOOD MEMORIES!!!! NOTIN CAN REPLACE IT IN MY LIFE.
This is the days I was a little young boy growing up in Nigeria. This is when Nigeria have the real musicians that sings meaningful songs, not what we have this days as musicians. My only regret go the musicians of those days is that they weren't having the opportunity that the musicians of this days have which automatically sales them to the world views through Internet, social media's, RUclips, ITunes and so many electronic media's. Our present days musicians are just fortunate by making more money than the musicians of the past through advertising, sponsorship deals and so many invitational concerts internationally, and that is the advantage the musicians of today have above those of the past.
Life is really like a candle in the wind! One of the best ways to relive our past youthful years is to listen to these oldies... it's very refreshing and takes us back to those time just is a flash! Big ups to BLACKKY for making our analog youthful years to be memorable, valuable, and worth relishing, even when we never had the internet.
Oh God, how I wish I could be that teenager again, when things were good, when music was music. I will not forget. Its painful what our country has become
happened to youth of nowadays and youth then.Seeing the video check out the harmony, quiet and free spirit, but watch a video of today and see youths haywire, wild ones, dancing like being possessed by some wild, aimless spirit.Whatever went wrong,I wish people like Olisa Adibua could tell because he has all his life beamed on 9JA music.Shout out to y'all
Lanre Edun U are right my brother. Now a days youth & young people are dancing as if they are possessed by semons. No good music anymore in our generation. I wish I was born back in the 1950's than now. Our generation is sooo wrong😀😐
This song is just like a perfect time machine. It just takes me straight back to the deep Beautiful melancholic days of my teenage and awakens amazing memories.
Listening to this song reminds me of my late dad who’s funeral was earlier this month RIP Dad😢. Those were the good old days, I’m so nostalgic right now
Wow now I get what inspired this song after spending 4 decades in this life and a music lover .. how i use to love this song as a kid . Knew all the lyrics too 😢.. Bob marley would be proud..

I really miss my childhood in the '80s ! Life in Nigeria was quite simple and these were the musicians who sang great songs with thought provoking lyrics and superb beats but didn't make money
I remember this song! It was quite popular, but at award ceremonies he caused controversy because he's actually Ghanian although he does have a Nigerian mother, and as a result he was never nominated. Despite the success of this song, he remained broke and lived in one room in Lagos, although his situation has improved now.

I really really wish.... Perhaps when we finish here.
This was the sweetest era of Nigeria, but politicians have spoilt everything now
I am overwhelmed with nostalgia. This has sent me back to my childhood days. Alex Zitto was one of the best back then.

Thank God o.....when music made sense..not the vulgar rubbish we hear today....when Nigeria was sweet...
I lost my best friend in secondary school a couple of months ago , he made me love this jam. RIP lawrence
Allowing this song to fade off without a remix for the younger generation would remain a crime on Alex's path.
Ever green song , beautiful ❤
