Thanks for inspiring me to want to work harder at learning piano. My 20 month old daughter and I enjoyed dancing together while listening to you playing this song. Congrats on winning the contest too!
Last day of the contest is tomorrow! Wow. Your musicianship is outstanding! You play like the music is a part of you. Your movements are fluid and expressive - not just mechanical note playing. I can tell that you truly have fun playing. This will make your upcoming CD of your own original songs a hit that will be truly enjoyable - I look forward to it!
wow, that was amazing. I'm the same age, and I nearly gave up on it today, but I think I'm gonna keep learning it because of you! I think it's really impressive that you learned that by ear! Good luck in the contest! ~karinabean
I reckon you got a jump on the competition by already having learned the song by ear while others had to wait for sheet music and go from there. You can see that you really feel the music. I can't fathom learning ANYTHING by ear. Great performance.
I've watched most (all?) of the other "Road Trip" fan videos and I think you've got the best stage presence/performance presence. You're in the top of the group talent-wise. Too bad your video isn't in HD--I'd love to be able to see your fingers fly over the keys better. I'm glad you've got some higher-resolution videos. A few of the other videos had some really fun production techniques I liked--the pavement striping animation one, and the multi-angle, well-cut video. Yours is my favorite!
You can listen to some of Hunter's original songs on his website. His website is just his first and last name together (all lower case) followed by a dot and the common website ending with a c, an o, and an m (RUclips won't allow a website address posted in a comment).
Due to RUclips's buggy comment system, I am redoing my comment in reply to @Mrpianoman114: I think Hunter's video was the first entry posted on RUclips for Jon Schmidt's Road Trip contest.

@carlosian2 Wow really? Comment ONLY on the person's video in first? Giving them even more views? That's messed up.
