djslarge Actually no, virgin coconut oil is good as an anti acne treatment (used topically), it has antibacterial properties and other good stuff! I use a little bit every day, it helped me with the mild acne that I had, and also with my acne scars.
Dish soap is actually pretty good.... But you have to OIL first! Olive oil or baby oil or coconut... melt all the makeup, look all dirty and greasy... then use a little dish soap to break down THAT oil! Then use a gentle cleanser and an acid toner and a face oil.
