- Vlog #4 in Japan and we head to the auctions. I've been mentioning buying a super car and I think this might be it.. What do you guys think of the Liberty Walk Ferrari 360 Modena?! It's also got a gated 6 speed manual..
The CEL is probably from an aftermarket exhaust. For maintenance, you don't have to worry about going to a dealer since they won't touch a modified car. There's probably a speciality shop in your area that can handle it though.

When Brian from Hoonigan bought his 360, he mentioned how easy the 360 was to work on. idk how true that is but.. you have the tools and the hands to get things done like you do already. I say go for it! its sick and a dream car like you said.

One of my favorite things about Japan is nobody pulls in into parking spots everyone is backed in their whole country backs into parking spaces it makes hella sense I love it
The freeways (pretty much everyone of them is a toll road) are CRAZY expensive in Japan. That's why a lot of people take the side roads and takes forever to get to where you want to go.

OP mentions 'using this card, will give you the cost of the toll depending on how far you've travelled'. Okay, so using public transport like a train or bus in Japan, covering the same distance, would cost how much?
Now we can make some kind of 'omg that's expensive / inexpensive' statement. Otherwise you're just saying 'omg that's expensive' with nothing to compare it to. Then you need to ask 'why is it expensive', is at due to it being newly built? Is it to deter people from driving, whilst encouraging them to use public transport?

Maintenance on a 360 supposedly isnt all that bad (at least when it comes to Ferraris). I dont believe you have to like remove the engine for basic and semi-basic maintenance items. My old neighbor had a 360 back in the day, and daily drove it, he also had a Testarossa that just sat in the garage. I live in a relatively small town and i still know some competent indies that would likely work on it. I've always had a soft spot for 360s, especially a gated manual one.
Im going thought sooooo much rn and seeing thies videos make me a lil better. Ive been folowing even since the purple FRS and love how far you guys have came. I allwasys get hiped, or joy when i see a post. Idk what it is about yourguyses content , but i hope it will never stop. Also living the japan vlogs❤💯

16:59 is the best part of the video :D 1000% relatable and completely regardless of car brand :D Countless people who bought a car above their means just because it was cheap and they really wanted to own it one day just to find out they can't :D I did that once too but it actually kickstarted me really good because it was a hell of a motivation to get better so I can keep the car.

I still think that japan has one of the most badass car cultures, i love my American v8's but the nissan skyline gtr r34 is so kickass, also the fact they drive on the right hand makes so much more sense
Owning a Liberty Walk car gets you into the Liberty Walk club events, I don't know about shipping it outside the country but I'm sure if you get in with them they can put you on to more money, more Japanese deals and good vibes all around. They got some cool shit going on year round and typically have their own booth every other car event like Tokyo Auto Salon. It's an additional value-add to the investment of a Ferrari if you do buy in, personally a check engine light could mean so many things but I mean the engine was there so you're straight.
Small things can throw an error code like that, if it didn't sound weird on start up -during idle and revving it, you might not be looking at too much. I would budget $50k though for problems, most of the Liberty Walk cars/owners especially the exotics babied their cars and typically sell/auction for cash towards newer cars.

The graphics on these things are incredible, the detail and shading and AI NPC interactions are very life like, their mannerisms, behaviour and movements all look very natural and realistic.👍

Buy it, cel is most likely for the modified exhaust. plus if you can build everything else you have what’s the difference in a rarri. Dealer probably wouldn’t touch it since it’s modified but their are worse cases like not being able to find parts

unique factor is 1000 percent worth it, as previously stated check engine is likely from mods. Every vehicle out there is just nuts and bolts, you wont have to use dealer as many of the systems on 1999 are not incredibly complicated. Liberty kit makes this car flawless. Engine sounded like it was running healthy.

you can very easily use your outreach to get in touch with a specialty shop that works on cars like this, and 360s are arguably one of the easiest ferarris to work on (not that thats easy tho), so depending on how low the price is it might be worth
Just FYI, if you live in New Jersey and you have to work in the city, it cost you more than $40 a day and tolls if you have to go across the two bridges and that’s not accounting the expressways that have their own tolls per exit it cost you about $60 to drive one way to work $120 a day and tools because the bridge is get you $20 each way

OK her is what i think. Everyone is scared to work on such a car, but the content you will get from working on this car will be insane. Im sure you have the tools. Dont be scared to work on your car. Man when i had my BMW i never took it to a dealership always to a normal mechanic and it always got fixed for less than half the price. Dont let that scare you from enjoying what you want. Life is about taking risk. If it breaks then take the time to fix it. You have a great group of guys that seem like they would love to hlp you work on it if you asked them. I say go for it man.

I have a ferrari 360, the check engine light don’t even pay attention to that on all old ferrari it come up just because no reason. Only thing on that car the clutch only lasts about 6000 miles

Hey Randy just want to say I’ve never been fan of super cars until I seen this video and I have to say you MUST get it and it’s one clean ass Ferrari to own
I think the 360 is deemed a world car, so I think you should be able to import it in with no issues at customs. Maybe just change specific parts to U.S Homologation brand new from a Ferrari dealer and just bring it in, But since it's modded I'm not sure 100% sure but you can fact check it.
