I have Huion Kamvas 13, I took the matte screen protector off around 6 months of usage. Turns out I like it more in terms of feelings. Not slippery as I expected. Oh, I bought a tabletop easel and put the pen display on it since no stand came in the box. For me, it's more flexible than the stands.
Another thing all people should consider for pen displays is the amount of anti-glare sparkle (ruclips.net/video/g_nsvraK3P8/видео.html). If in your future reviews of pen displays, you can touch on the amount of AG sparkle you find, it should help people make better choices. Some pen displays exhibit it very strongly and it can be a very unpleasant effect for some people.
for apps krita supports keyboard shortcuts too as it is the desktop app ported to android. and can you review the lenovo precision pen 2 2023 and make a comparison to the older version. the 2023 is silver.
I wish I knew about these pen displays before I got a old 10.5” iPad Pro from the Apple Store and then still had to buy the pencil separately as well, I would have rather wanted something like these pen displays but I honestly didn’t even know something like them existed. I miss using photoshop and illustrator so much, it’s the biggest drawback I have with the iPad. We don’t have all the big brands here in South Africa but I saw we have “XP Pen” brand, not sure if they good or if you know them
I've always been curious about the latency of pen displays. I've never used a pen display, I'm used to drawing on an ipad pro 2017 and there's no issue with latency at all but unfortunately there's a white spot issue on the screen, so I need an upgrade and I'm planning to get a pen display. does the gpu affect the latency? or maybe the ram?
The latency is due to the display hardware. While pen displays can be used to take notes, I think it's still more comfortable to take notes on a smaller display.
How is the touch feature coming along in terms on new products that offer it? Is it a trend to expect to continue? I purchased a XP-Pen Artist Pro 16TP and it just didn't work for me, but there isn't much else out there that isn't $2,500...
What do you mean the touch did not work? Anyway, I feel the touch gesture implementation on Windows isn't as good as iPad and Android. It not due to the hardware but how Windows implements touch. Maybe I'll make a video on that in the future.
@@teohontech7141 I meant the tablet didn't work for me. The touch worked fine and I'd like another. I just wonder if there will be more competition in that space in the future?

Does the surface make squeaky sound with the pen nib?
doesnt that destroy the screen?

Thank you for your advices and reviews Teoh!
Great video! Very practical advice for people looking for a pen display. I'm sure it will help a lot of people.
Using Dex you can still use the Android device to pinch and zoom etc like a touch screen.
Yes, you have to use finger gestures on the Android since most pen displays are not touchscreens

Thank you for your work, Teoh!
Sir please review the realme pencil and oppo smart pen. Retailers won't allow me to check it before buying one
