    Your walkthroughs are all excellent and very helpful. I am planning to treat my mom to a trip either here or the Riu Palace Peninsula. She is older, I was just wondering if the elevator at this resort goes down to the pool level as well. Also, in for the Peninsula, I notice it was quite a few stairs from the pools up to the lunch buffet, is there a way to access that restaurant without walking up those stairs? Thanks in advance for any info, I just don't want to bring my mom somewhere where she will have to climb a bunch of stairs, her hip is bad and stairs are difficult for her.

      I know there are elevators in the lobby’s of both hotels, but I don’t remember specifically if there are some by the buffet at RP peninsula or close to the beach at RP Mexico. I don’t want to steer you wrong, so I recommend emailing the hotels to see which one has the better accessibility options for your mom 👍🏻

    We have stayed at barcelo maya riviera twice. How do the pools at riu compare to the pools at barcelo

    • @WherewegoingNext
      @WherewegoingNext  Год назад

      One thing we liked about Barcelo is the seating and hammocks at the pools. RIU is simply pool lounge chairs. For that, Barcelo is a bit better.

      Yes, everything is included. There is some "better" liquor, you just have to ask for it. We tip good service. Usually a bartender/server $2-3usd after a couple of drinks served. It's completely discretionary.
