What your likely doing wrong is attempting to drag the door shut, you need to keep you hand in the area of the box thats on the door. Watch the original sister location and you have a box that you have to keep you curser on and pressing shut, same will likely apply on this game but keeping your trigger and hand held joystick in the same area that the original sister location night door has. Hope this helps.
