This actually happened to me years ago when I was in my early 20's. I was completely financially illiterate and was in a desperate situation; I'd lost my job and was on the verge of eviction. I applied for a loan online and the loan officer (or so he claimed to be) said it was part of the "process" for him to wire me money and then for me to use that to buy Walmart gift cards. I feel so stupid in hindsight, but at the time, I was so young and desperate and knew nothing about loans. I've since then been very careful! I feel for this woman.

I just won 525,000 from readers digest yesterday they wanted my banking information to transfer the money they said it would take a few days.
