This video was for sure one of the most important you have ever made, all of us have definitely gone through performance anxiety but i think tip 2 is one of the best because if you have that negativity in the back of your mind all the time your performance will reflect that which is why i always try to eliminate them when ever i play a game. Thank you for this video ❤

Glad you think so 🙏 it is indeed something everyone has struggled with at some point in some shape or form. And it's fine to feel it, especially if someone like Haaland openly admits to feeling it! Thanks for sharing your experience

    - Dont try to stop the feelings and emotions, they are just information. Regulate them to your advantage (I'm feeling nervous now, because what Im about to do is important > focus on the match)
    1. Acceptance > Regulation (breathe)
    2. Stay present (no thinking of negative outcomes)
If you are focused on the present, then you dont have the mental capacity to be focused on the future or past
    3. Sleep

what do you do when, your performances are so bad, that you start losing your drive for the sport you’ve loved for your whole life

when you first started doing your sport, there was a reason that you enjoyed it besides winning or performing well. it’s what drove you to want to level up your abilities and continue playing. remember and write down the simple reasons you love your sport that DONT involve overall results; the competition, the environment, or maybe playing with your team. but it can also be the very simple things like the bounce feeling on your foot from kicking the ball, the feeling of the grooves on the basketball rub against your fingers before you take a shot, the feeling of your skates glide across the ice, the clack sound of your bowling ball hitting a pin, the way the mat feels when you walk on the wrestling mat, etc. put the list somewhere where you will see it every day. add to it when you think of new ones. when you’re feeling like you’re losing your drive, remind yourself about what makes you really enjoy doing your sport. try to make your thoughts more process orientated, rather than results oriented.

What do you think about when pressure makes you turn from nervousness to flow state. For example you are losing the whole time and when the final moment comes you go in flow state but you was nervous before that. Example I can think of is mbappe in world cup final and I know because it has happened to me before. After the flow state is over you go back to nervous and calm down slowly

We all need pressure to perform our best - the ability to then do so all comes down to 'appraisals' of stressors 👍
