WAZZUP ART? IT WAS NICE MEETING YOU GUYS AT THE NJ HI-RAILERS. I HAD THE GREEN TRIPLEX AND TUSKEGEE AIRMEN REDTAIL. 🙂THAT LIGHTING SYSTEM LOOKS LIKE THE ONE ROLLS ROYCE USES FOR THEIR STAR LIT HEAD LINERS AND INTERIORS. VERY NICE.
Thanks for the review. For my taste, it will always be LEDs controlled by an Arduino microprocessor. The Arduino learning curve may be steep for most folks, but the flexibility in timing and brightness control was worth it for me. Less expensive, too.
@@davidackmann662 that is a great option, you're right arduino has a learning curve but opens up so many possibilities, I keep thinking about trying it but haven't figured out where to start. Is there an arduino kit you recommend to start with?
The biggest disadvantage I can see with Dwarvin is that everything goes into a single light source, no individual control like you can get with Woodland Scenics.
True. You can adjust how far the fiber goes into the Lamplighter to adjust intensity, and you can paint the end of the fiber to alter its color, but if you wanted a light off while other lights were on, it would need to be in a separate Lamplighter or the fiber pulled all the way out.
Nice comparison, Art! Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Have a great weekend. (Frank)
Great comparison. Thanks
A very informative review. I believe Dwarvin offers a multiple feature remote control for their system also. Thanks Art ! 👍

Great info, I’ll will check them out, thank you.

Art, Dwarvin fiber can be bent in any angle by dipping the cable in hot water. It will not loose any light by following that step.
@@ManojKhanna-j1q great hint! Thanks
