Great list! Padre is one of my all time favorites. Have you seen the Vosteed Hedgehog yet? Carried the Massdrop Dog tooth and the Kubey Bravo one tiger stripe anno, m390 tanto.
I'm super interested in both the Psyop and the RSKaos. Both seem great so it's difficult to choose. The Paramour and Apache have been grails of mine for awhile but they're extremely hard to find. I have the Mini Sweeney and I love that knife. Such a snappy little thing almost eager to cut. She's sharp too trust me lol
The RSKaos is a crazy great knife, but a little impractical unless you enjoy a weightier carry. Haven't bitten on the Psyop yet, but may go with a Hedgehog instead. Dunno yet lol
@@Spthomas47 exactly! And the Racoon. I think I'm leaving towards the Psyop for the same reason u mentioned about the RSKaos. I just need to get a Vosteed top liner lock in the collection lol
It will break in brother. Maybe keep it a week or two and see how it goes. It'll always sell. Those washers can get extremely smooth. Lots of good stuff right now though too
I bought two of the tributes from nc blade. The black and red fat carbon handles Andy hand rubbed satin blade and the what is it zircuti bolsters white fat carbon and damasteel blade
Love the selection... I have a Sharkfoot AD20.5 allti w/lynchnw clip... but you need to show more full deep carry knives... some of us need to hide in pocket better... appreciate your collection... i need to up my knife game
Great stuff I see alot of otf knock offs at the market do the blades lock up soild when deployed? He said they have to play to shoot out I thought he was nuts 🤔
GBall just a smooth selection son. I was all in on the Real Steel then you had to drop the Kunwu and then the others. Very hard to choose bud however we’ll done!

Nice video but….Put in links, or at least names of knives down below. It really makes it easier.
I'll never understand why framelocks stay so popular. The steel improves over time but the industry standard lock doesn't. Liner locks are the worst but framelocks are just above that. It's unfortunate because many of the designs are great otherwise.
I think customs did it as a show of craftsmanship and to have a mechanically simple lock. Mass production knives started to copy it because customs were doing it.
Have you handled higherish end frame/liner locks (Reate level)? I preferred axis and button locks at first but quickly realized frame/liner locks have the best detent so they have that crispy opening which is unmatched by other locking mechanisms. Once I handled a quality frame lock with a perfect detent, I understood why they're so loved.
@@fulton1688yep I agree 100% I was so over liner locks cause I was only exposed to civivi and budget spyderco liner locks etc but since getting some higher quality liner locks and frame locks/bolster locks they are some of my favourite knives now Nothing beats a really well done liner lock, it’s much more impressive to me to have a really smooth dropping liner lock than it is with a crossbar lock or button lock, when the blade just drops despite having the detent pushing against the blade the whole way down.
Thanks for the explanations, these are some of the best I've seen. I still don't like framelocks for a number of reasons (weak point in the handle, finger in the way, fidgeting suffers, etc.) but at least now I know it's for the action. Flippers are the one knife that can take full advantage of that action so it makes sense it would be considered optimal. I'll admit that my knives don't slowly glide closed, they quickly swing closed. Someone who wants to see their knife close like butter sliding down the wall would not like my knives.
I would definitely say it's a matter of preference. But I tend to agree that high level liner bolster frame locks are extremely satisfying. I've really beat on some frame locks and if done properly they can be really solid. As far as fidgeting suffering, a bolster lock will help that, or the right frame lock. I have frame locks that are so well done that I can thumb flick reverse flick and then rear or front flip them easily.
