Maybe I am a metal fan. I assuredly am a Dan Vasc fan.
I am reminded of attending a black Baptist church as a teenager and realizing it was a different experience altogether. Brightly clad choirs singing and dancing down the aisles. Passion in the preaching. Joyous responses from the congregation.

To this day I don't know why so many churches are glum and reserved to the point of emotional constipation.

I wish we had gospel churches in the UK maybe then I would be a believer, but we haven’t or not that I’ve heard of anyway, it’s a shame because it’s such happy music. Tis the season again. And oh how sick I am of the carols that are played non-stop from before Thanksgiving to after Christmas. Now comes Dan Vasc! Let me say, I have always thought the angels who appear to mankind are Men-kind. I believe the choruses from heaven are resoundingly powerful and male. Dan Vasc has just confirmed how absolutely stunning and dynamic HIS male voice is. Welcome to a bit of heaven, people. Dan Vasc singing praises to the Christ Child is about as good as it gets.
That look at 8 seconds in. He steps up to the mic, gives a sly look and you just KNOW he is about to lay some awesome on you. I love this performance. So much attitude and energy from both of them.
I listen to O Holy Night, Amazing Grace and this song every morning and evening. It’s part of the armour of God (my helmet) and it keeps me victorious throughout the daily battle. Thank you brother in Christ!

Don’t say that I’m 76 on the 18th of next month and there’s a lot of life left in this old dog, even though I’m crippled with Fibromyalgia and please don’t feel sorry for me I started showing symptoms of I when I was 38, so I’ve had it for many years and I think I’ve grown accustomed to the pain I barely feel it anymore. Still mustn’t complain, I’ve had a good life. Thank you again Dan.
