Here’s our take on the natural, effortlessly blended highlights technique.

1. Part your clients head ( see the diagram)
2. Start your thin slice around front hair line
3. Keep your strokes upward towards roots
4. Keep your sections diagonal ( this will create a directional highlights)
5. Behind the ear to behind the ear sections, utilize the teasy lights technique
6. Crown triangle, make sure you leave enough shadow to create a dimension
7. Front fringe section is done by micro baby lights
8. Teasy lights on top of the head will create shadows and softer blending
