Yup. Such a shame retail neglects actual collectors who want to keep their pulls. Everything is geared toward the secondary market, which in turn has killed the hobby.
Coors Field is amazing. It’s the only other ballpark I’ve been to besides Petco Park. The view of the sunsets over the mountains during evening games is spectacular
display box is another option if you're looking to open every format. Around 70 bucks for 20 packs I believe, just no guaranteed hit. I've only got loose packs from one, never the whole box. Great vid as always Jabs!
Yeah they're dead pulls, but I'd love to pull one of a player I liked. Still is so unfortunate that they just aren't worth anything anymore. Gotta be the cheapest 1/1s around
@ricog2343 I love them too, man. People are so caught up in the monetary value of things... like, it's a 1/1... but people gripe cause it's bot worth $1,000. It's everything thats wrong with the hobby.
@@austinbousquet603 absolutely agree. I’m out here having a blast with the flagship paper and people act like they’re above it, will only chase the most expensive products or the “hot” products of the year and typically 1-3 names max. Meanwhile I’m ripping as many packs as my heart desires for a reasonable price and I’m loving all the cool inserts etc. makes the collecting fun, and as you said a 1/1 is a 1/1
8 hangers against a jumbo box today. Hangers rolled over the jumbo big time. Both had 1 auto and 2 mem cards. The jumbo had 2 numbered, the hangers had 7. Unfortunately nothing that got a "woohoo".
Bought a hobby box of series 2 this weekend. So disappointed again with 2024 boxes. No auto, just a relic, and ended up with 22 doubles out of one box. My son and I like to break boxes to complete 1 set each year and get some inserts. Didn't even land a Shohei. Only decent card was a Yamamoto. Like the design but not how Topp collate the boxes.
This is a bit OT. I just hate the fact that in order to complete the entire base set you need to buy more than one Jumbo. I used to be able to build the entire base set from one Jumbo in the past, now it’s impossible and feels like a huge slap in the face to collectors. Anyways, great video Jabs! Go Twins!!
Nice two packs. The rest, meh. Sort of the way it goes, though. But Monsters are out, and they seem to have about 8 foilboards per box versus the average of 4 in S1. Also seem to produce about 3-4 numbered cards from the videos I've seen. Have 3 inbound at the end of the week. Supposed to have tried 5 hangers today, but Fedex never showed. My local WalMart did a restock, but n S2 product at all. Just some Bowman blasters. So don't think I'll be able to find Chrome Platinum blasters any more. Only got 2, now the tag is gone, sucks being in a small town.
I’ve been to Coors field. Was fairly disappointed. Little history & the biggest thing is you couldn’t see the Rocky Mountains anywhere. My favorite part about PNC is the skyline. I feel like Rockies fans were robbed of such an amazing view they could have had. But the facilities are nice and clean, just nothing that has me ever wanting to come back. I’m only 15 parks in to see them all, but it’s hard to beat the PNC view
With Fat Packs I always end up lying in the middle of a pile of cardboard and regret! 😂
Yup. Such a shame retail neglects actual collectors who want to keep their pulls. Everything is geared toward the secondary market, which in turn has killed the hobby.
That’s how I been with hangers lately
Hangers and fat packs are the only thing I have any luck with.
@@CalClipsYT I have great luck with hangers just not Fat packs!!
I guess there good for kids who look at stats and other stuff
I wish they did more inserts like the aces set in 2023

Charlie Blackmon series 2 printing plate has a buy it now of $59 - printing plates are basically dead pulls - kinda hate them. Fun video

people are wild, i love printing plates. criminally under rated if you ask me

@@snerdterguson I bought a hobby box of optic baseball in 2022. Guaranteed 4 cards numbered 7 or less. All 4 were the same guy.
Hey I haven’t bought cards retail in years. But I’ve purchased two fat packs and got two parallels and two number cards so far.
Me and my kid bought 1 of these at Walmart. Got a purple numbered to 799 card.
Skenes teammate is also in the NL ROTY convo in Jared Jones
Printing plates of non stars are like 10-20 lol the homefield really saved this but it would have been really rough without
These are good for set building at least! Thanks for keeping it interesting Jabs!
He had no control. Lol

😂 you've probably just sold 10,000 fat packs for Topps! 🎉
That rendon is probably unsellable or maybe get 10$ at most
Nice plate! Have a great wknd jabs😎
Are the monster boxes good?
Nice printing plate pulled a relic gold and purple shimmer from a blaster today😮
Love it!
Jabs been getting all the top pulls from this product
lol i bought a single fat pack from target and pulled a /799. After watching this I think i'll stick to hangers tho
No joke I've only bought two retail packs and pulled a wembanyama and an altuve team logo border. Don't think I need to buy anymore haha
That printing plate is insane I should grabbed a few fat packs at my Walmart
$50 tops for the rendon 1/1
Im a buyer on that rendon printing plate

Fat packs kinda stink! Happy for Box War Bud on 2 big pulls, really like the Dominguez home field advantage! Enjoyed the video!
Love that printing plate
2024 Topps Update will have Skenes, which will make the value of Series 2 fall like a stone by then.
@@snerdterguson It certainly, the jumbo box prices will be cut in half the moment it comes out.
The odds are against you in fat packs, got it lol. Pales in comparison to the fat packs that were on clearance, almost every pack had a numbered card.
@@snerdterguson ohhh man that’s nuts. Whoda thunkit though
Monster boxes are at target
Hangers are still bangers! 😁
7:09 for the pull
Nice hit. Too bad it’s Rendon 🤦♂️
These are bad even though you pulled two case hits in them but I take it one of the nine stadiums you haven’t been to is the Roger’s centre in Toronto

good packs!
Yea BWB!!!
Fat packs don't seem to produce even with the 2 hits.
Love you live
Too bad the 1 of 1 is a player that really doesn’t want to play.
Rondon developed Mike Trout syndrome
uno of uno! GG!

Jabs your value of $200 on the printing plate is absurd. Nowhere near $100.
I said put it on there for $200 best offer and see what someone offers
1/1 of one of the most hated players in the league …tough
Anthony Rendón 1/1 is crazy he has been really bad since 2020 sadly
This product is beyond terrible.
Fat packs get a c
