I remember when pulling an auto was special. I didn't care who the player was. The same goes for relic cards. The cost and expectations of todays cards and collectors are way too high.
Paying 400 dollars combined to get one auto and one relic. Then you have the right to be mad
Depends on how much the cost of the rip is... Pulling a nobody Auto from retail where the boxes are (used to be) $20-40 bucks is different than $400 boxes haha

Yeah. I agree with the RUclipsr here. If the product cost nothing then who cares. We all pay these insane prices for the auto and numbered cards. If they want to charge 200 then that tells us the buyer that we’re getting value. You wouldn’t pay 1000 for a tv that may work from time to time. If you pay more you expect to get more b
Man, that was a let down. Both boxes were definitely a let down. There have been boxes out there with some decent hits and 2-3 numbered cards. It makes me wanna grab another Topps Series 2 hobby box though and test my luck!!!

Retail is better, the chance of pulling a rare card is more valuable based on the value at which you buy them vs the guaranteed no name at the higher cost you pay for hobby.
I ripped a Topps Chrome blaster & was lucky enough to pull an Elly Prizm not numbered though. Made my box for sure I even got an alright auto
Pretty decent. At least they hobby prices are as high as PANINI football stuff.

Topps Chrome for me and it definitely was way better than series 2
Hobby boxes used to be so different I bought a hobby box back in 2016 from 2014 only 100 bucks…. And it was topps football. You got 4 autographs as well. Nowadays easy 500-900 for a decent hobby box
And you get 1-2 autographs at best lol….
Purple auto was numbered to 299 i think.
Other than that you got a good box compared to most people. If you dont buy a case its not worth it and even then its still not worth it i think the value will drop on these. Wish i snagged a jumbo before they ran out. I'm waiting on my monster boxes to come in they say they have legends in those so hopefully I get lucky

Thanks for the video! Series 2 hobby and jumbo boxes were spittin' out fire for a minute. I was a bit surprised on this battle. Fanatics has been doing the most to water down 2024 Topps Chrome, and turn it into Panini Prizm Baseball with active players and team logos. I'm starting to think Composite Football and Topps Chrome Basketball might be a more enjoyable hobby rip. At least you will know all the guys who will fly out of the boxes, and the rookie autos will be highly sought after.
I have both Composite and chrome basketball hobby boxes coming in... 3 boxes of each... if i don't pull anything to satisfy the rip then I'm done with topps. I've been getting killed by their stuff lately

1 numbered card outside the Auto. Typically you get 3-4 non Auto numbered cards. I got destroyed
