You really saved me a LOT of time and maybe even a radio. I spent days dealing with issue with the BTECH DMR-6X2 getting stuck in a TRANMIT mode. I could NOT figure out why. This program popped up on my radar because I love qDMR and use it on my Mac Mini. Somewhere in the last two updates, however, it must have started setting the Simplex Repeater to ON. When you found that, I was ELATED! My BTECH DMR-6X2 is now working fine with that off. Thanks for finding that!
FYI: For a few years now (prior to your puiblish date), there are free RHEL entitlements that you can have. I have about 12 laptops/workstations across my home and 4 servers running RHEL8 or 9 (too lazy to upgrade a few servers).
@@temporarilyoffline TY, just found your channel a bit back. Subbed to bnoth -- now. If you ever need a hand on the linux front, hollar. I have been eating and breathing linux since 97 as my only OS aside from vintage stuff (ataris and commodores, some SGI and Suns).
Jim you can have custom molded iem,s so there super comfortable and you can also have molds made for the iem's you already use there's even diy solutions for custom molds
Well, it's good that your buggy software didn't enable encryption or some other verbotin on ham radio scheme. What did I learn? DMR makes my head hurt.

Hey. thanks man !
Just as a side note, the latest release 0.11.2 should fix some issues with the BTECH DMR-6X2.
Awesome, thanks!
Flying by the seat of your pants doing a live show, very gutsy and a good outcome... this time. 😆 👍
I like it better this way. More fun when you don't know thr outcome. Thanks for watching!

DMR is a very painful experience. Fusion or M17 is much better.
