The greenhouse building, to me, makes me think of the conservatory of flowers and that absolutely could have been a rabbit hole for gardening. And the shells themselves in the background could have been much more San Francisco themed. It absolutely looks like the other worlds we already have, which is a big let down.
Its so lovely to see the huge Filipino inspirations in this new world. Robles , Ruano, Bayani ,Aurelio and Ignacio are common Filipino names. Plus Tala means "star" in our language. Its so cool they are using Filipino culture everywhere in this world.

Once the pack installs into my game, the first thing I'm gonna do is add the grandad to the family so that he'll be in the family tree, create a pretty difficult relationship between him and Celeste's husband like in the gameplay trailer, create a wife or husband for the grandad and build them a cute little home just for them. 💗🙂

I've procrastinated about expansion packs before, trying to justify getting ones I'm not that impressed by, then time has passed and I've got every single one. Well, that's until now. I really don't have any interest in the "Growing Together" theme, but I'd usually have got the pack anyway if the world was interesting enough. Unfortunately, as someone who enjoys worlds with character I don't think this one is worth my time and money. All the effort seems to have gone into new traits and items and the world itself appears to have been quickly thrown together. It doesn't look like it has any personality at all, which is a real shame. Even Moonwood Mill in the Werewolves game pack has a great, unique atmosphere and that only has a handful of lots. Another sunshine paradise, modern city of apartments, snowy mountainous region, or wooded backwater would have been much more appealing despite them repeating previously used themes. San Sequoia looks like a launch world.
The world looks absolutely gorgeous! I am so excited to get an 64x64 lot. Fingers crossed it is freely editable. As for the townies, I'm pretty disappointed. For new kids we have one teen, two children, one toddler and one infant. I was expecting larger and younger families for a generations type pack. The two Robles households could have been combined into one. We don't have many big households like that in the game. It'd make the family dynamics a little more interesting if they were all under one roof imo. I'm also surprised that Atlas and Orion were adopted. The gameplay trailer made it seem like Celeste gave birth to both, and the kids look like they're bio. I really, really hope the team is good about uploading families to the Gallery this time around. There are several from the reveal trailer I was hoping we'd get in the world. In particular the Asian family and the red-haired siblings.
@@EnglishSimmer oh no, only kyle? 🥲 they made it sound like there were different townies with different personalities that could alsk to stay over, as if kyle was just one of them

I thought I had seen he/him for them somewhere but apparently not! they also have a fem frame so I'm assuming they were created before top surgery scars shipped in base game which is why they don't have them
Karmine is super cute, easily my favourite townie and one of the best in sims 4 let alone the pack. And the Michaelsons are mostly well designed. But overall I have to say I will be editing/deleting most of these sadly. I think they focus so much on diversity now that they forget to make them funny and cool etc like they always used to. The Robles and Robles-Ruano families look like they just pressed the randomise sim button.
I don't like the new world. At all. It feels so drab and lifeless. It looks like if Copperdale and Newcrest had a baby with less lots. I'm sorry to be so negative, I just want a difference in scenery
I'm kinda let down that the "classes" they were highlighting in twitter isn't really in-depth, barely there from what yours and Plumbella's review says. My biggest issue with community lots in the Sims 4 is how non-controlled sims while in the community work, they tend to break immersion with how they are programmed to interact with the objects and each other. The constant dancing to stereos, the sudden push-ups, the dancing chairs, the going to the far end because you clicked your sims to interact with NPCs and townies, and those said NPC/townie's had something in their action queue while you were choosing an interaction with them, so instead of them just dropping what they are doing, you have to wait for them to complete their "walk here" action queue, and that's why you end up running up to them. Really wish there was a mentor for the art classes, or maybe a host for game day or something. :/

👀 so excite
Are there any new unhoused NPCs?
oh shoot i was meant to include a shot of that but just kyle! (who asks for a stay over once you’re settled in)
@@EnglishSimmer oh no, only kyle? 🥲 they made it sound like there were different townies with different personalities that could alsk to stay over, as if kyle was just one of them
@@EnglishSimmer does that mean the grandfather from the gameplay trailer is not shipped with the game? Thanks ahead of the time if you get to this question.
not the negative romance bar between siblings ummm...
WOOOOOOO
No gay sims in the San Fran inspired world?! HAX I SAY!
ngl i did not have time to hop into CAS before recording this, but did it afterwards bc I was curious and Aurelio is interested in mess around with both men and women and Jay uses they/them pronouns which I am so sorry for misgendering them in this video.
Exactly, so boring...
I don't like the new world. At all. It feels so drab and lifeless. It looks like if Copperdale and Newcrest had a baby with less lots. I'm sorry to be so negative, I just want a difference in scenery
Wow this world is realy small, more fake lost than real working lots.
Early
FIRST OMG
Sims 4.... ugh.... they are really milking this game.
I didnt Like Everyone Doesnt like this pack that EA make Always for years Someone judge EA pack For some reason that not make sense and doesnt feel alive and something wrong with this pack Person who hate Sims 4 pack Dont play Sims 4 anymore Uninstall it From your Computer Ok??!! or play Game that you like
Glad they didnt put the pronouns on the premades. After all i find id asinine. It does allow the gamers to go in and make what ever story they want with them and to adjust the asinine pronouns
I’ve never been happier getting out of school at 12:30 and getting home at 1 🥹
the world looks like it’s something they put together at the last minute I’m so sad 😭
