Man, this brought back some memories! I had a Warrior and a '88 250X back in the 90s. The Warrior was stock and the X had a built motor with a high compression piston, cam, pipe, etc. along with 20" rear tires. The X was definitely the better handling and more agile bike in the woods and it was also faster through the gears. The Warrior was a couple mph faster out on the road due to the 6th gear and the X being geared down a bit from stock. I wasn't expecting the Blaster to be quicker and faster than the Warrior in the drag race. I grew to prefer the X. The Warrior was nice but it always felt a bit heavy and clumsy to me when ridden at more than about 70 percent.
Another great video from tbc. Honestly the voice over in the beginning was great and the beet part we like is the blaster being ten cars behinds on the dirt strip to passing the 250 and becoming 20 cars ahead.

One of my first "big boy" machines at 10 was an 83 200X. 36 years later I have another that I still love to ride. Blasters get so much hate for being such a great little machine.
Great comparison. Enjoyed it very much and seeing these machines now is a time capsule. What some looked like and how they changed just cosmetic wise is a real testament to how well they lasted. Keep them coming and great video.
Love the video looks like you guys really had a blast I'm a 73 baby grew up wanting a Honda 250R ATC or any other model for that matter I bought my first ATV in 2017 a 2017 TRX250X SE which I absolutely love with the only upgrade being 1.5 durablue wheel spacers front and back but I am looking forward to making other upgrades in the near future thank you for this video comparisons with the TRX250X and pushing it to some limits while having big fun

I gotta say a blaster is probably my favorite “beginner” machine. Neighbor had one growing up which prompted me to buy a 2001 when I turned 16. Found one that was already rebuilt and bored over a bit. I ended up blowing up twice 😂. Excited for the banshee giveaway, and love the channel. 🤘🏻
My first quad was an 87 250x....had a blast on it. My brother had a 86 Warrior. We spent a lot if time in Brookwood Al trail riding around the strip pits there. Great times...

I got a blown up kasea Skyhawk 250 free and put hydraulic disk front and rear as kasea bought chassis from Yamaha. I got a 13.5:1 426ex would be fun at banshee land
Trx has reverse my 03 has it. Red button on clutch lever push down and pull in clutch (it is a rear hand break on the older models) while in neutral push button and hold pull in clutch click down into reverse
Im so surprised the trx kept up with the blaster! It seems very fun to ride that little thing. Is the handling as good as it seems or you making it look easy jaja?

@@TheBansheeChannel I got a 2009 trx 300, last year of production its pretty rare I could never get rid of it. Also got a 2011 raptor 250 the thing is so light weight and fun to throw around. Both are awesome quads that people pay no mind to

I'm building a 06 blaster right now. Plus 3 swing arm, extended axel, plus 3 a arms and tie rods, 450r rear shock, yfz front shocks. It's gonna a rip.
