But hey you're right her parents shouldn't have waited till then to discipline her, they should have sent her to school with her necessities without money that she doesn't need and that's it. The parents were too soft with her. "Don't spare the rod and spoil the child. Train up a child in the way that they should go so when they grow old they shall not depart from it," is what I've learnt and I'm grateful that my mother both disciplined and loved me as a child, I'm glad I'm not miserable.
