A thing people needs to know is that you shouldn't update windows after doing this, is highly recommended to uninstall the theme before doing it is you dont want your os getting corrupted, after that make sure there is an update for your theme aswell then AND ONLY THEN reinstall 😁

@@PoweredByOstX Hey, I own a pretty big server about windows customization (themes, icons, apps and other stuff) on discord and I can tell you most of the time the theme doesn't corrupt your system, but it may happen if you are updating from a old to a new version for example 1909 > 2004 then its good to uninstall the theme first, but if its just a small cumulative update or security update you don't need to reinstall the theme :D (Edit) Also people tend to be stupid with themes and not follow the instructions at all and they forget to put the theme folder in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes and then they complain how it doesnt work, so if anyone comments you can lead them to that and most of the time thats the problem

gotta give this video a like cuz i saw another tutorial and when i followed that and installed using 7tsp, the icons were not patching how many times ever i tried. but the ipack worked for me thanks to you.
100% working! Easy to follow tutorial! Now I have a complete new theme and my Windows doesn't look boring anymore! Kudos and a lot of thanks to the author and owner of the theme!

I use Windowblinds and Iconpackager, there hundreds of awesome themes and icons to chose from.

iPacks are only for builds 1809 and prior of Windows. For 1903 and higher use the 7TSP installer.

@@debil3206 Because the icons files ".mui" are not on same locations for different builds. So if you install icons with ipack on 2004 your icons will mess up and you you will break you system.
The trouble with themes is that they change EVERYTHING. It's like wanting to change the paint color in your bathroom and the only solution you have is to buy an entire new house where everything else is different too. What if I just want to change the Win 10 interface's white backgrounds to light gray and nothing else? Do I have to build my own theme? If so, where to start?
I did everything but still didn't got rounded corner and that greyish explorer background. help!

icons worked in 2022 but the the rounded edges theme i had to use stardock curtains for the rest of the theme.
I had to replace the origanal theme showed in video caus the designer of the theme removed theme from his page on deviant art.

It can cause your monitor to have some issues using this I just experienced my monitor not going to the start menu and just blank

I put up the theme successfully but I have a issue some elements throughout windows becomes white (in control panel ) which aligns with white text which majkes it hard to see I remember being able to fix the issue in 2019 but changing something in registry editor but im not able to find that solution again can you help me?
patching with 7TSP .. completed. after restarting icons are change. but when I copy and paste theme and try to apply. It's loading then nothing changed. I have tried many time but nothing change with theme. I have tried gruvy dark and other also. when open my pc, it's look the same no change. start menu, minimize, full screen mode all are the same. (windows version 22H2)
And now I've lost my pc. It's Don't open after Install ux patcher. It says to reboot the computer and I click to reboot and windows are going to start and loop after showing starting window..... Can u help me plz. I'm on my phone now. 🥺

No, a custom theme and Icon packs are only visual style, they dont have anything with performance, example custom theme and icon pack are not same as rainmeter for example, 7tsp app will just made backup of original win icons and it will replace them with new one. 7tsp will never run in background as rainmeter to show the changes. I really hope that you understand 😌

You need to run 7tsp again, and choose restore option

why is my folder icons not changed? It's still the same as before. That's the only one that hasn't changed for some reason
when I create a new folder, the new icons appear. But when I put files in it, it goes back to the default icon folder. Plus the options of turning the thumbnails were gone. How to fix this?
