I am a beginner and this was very helpful. Thanks mate! Keep the good work.
One great thing about his tutorial is that he teaches you different methods to do the same procedures. As long as you're paying close attention you can learn a lot. I hope to get proficient in SW and refresh my knowledge in Catia also.
Great tutorial, lots of info and no horrible music over it. Thanks!
If the narrator has an Indian accent, you know this is gonna be a good tutorial
he's also using a $10 pair of headphones, probably with only one ear. He knows what he's doing.
Lol, Yeaaaaaah man they are the best
Indeed brother
This is Indian accent u dumbass..
Agreed.
Straight into the practical stuff.
"To learn the basics we'll make this. Do this, do this, do this, do this..... done. You now know how to do all that stuff".
Wow! Thanks.
Thanks for your videos and your pace of explanation. I've found your channel to be an invaluable resource! Keep up the great work!
Great tutorial! if you just opened the software for the first time (like me) watch another video that talks about the very basics (tool layout, navigating the 3d window, etc) made this video way easier to follow.
Thank you for taking the time to teach, your videos are excellent!!
YOU ARE ONE OF THE BEST INSTRUCTOR ON RUclips
I use inventor autodesk and for the holes I use points and set the dimensions. I’ve never used solidwork but I find it a bit similar to inventor, you are doing a good job keep it up.
Today I am applying for the position of cad tech in our company. Where the needed software to be used is solidworks, But, in my previous company which is molding injection we used Nx / Unigraphics for modelling. Sometimes we draw in Cad, then extract to NX.
I will subscribe your channel. To know better in solidworks. Please pray for the my interview.
I will learn in this video a lot thing. Thank you
Thanks one more time! It's easy but very nice to make.
Thanks for all Solidworks videos! :)
All I have to say is thank you for such a straightforward tutorial.
Man is better than my professor and it only took almost 12 mins for me to understand.
Thank you for every day!!

Perfect tutorial to learn. Thank you sir
Straight to the point.... All drafting no rambling ! Thanks
great job, keep sharing mate!
@2:57
It's important to note that the "thin feature" option does not appear if you create the feature as a solid, but then try to edit the feature and make it a "thin feature".
I'm subbing!, thank you so much, i only know how to use inventor, and so I'm trying to get a draughting job but they want solid works. I'm praying I get as good as you.😍
thank you, i made my first pipe with you ! Waouw wonderfull pipe !
tank you very much for show us how to make this part..
This is a good one. I took inspiration from you and started my own cad tutorial RUclips channel @cad by nana. Your level of detail is impressive. Thanks Sir!
That's a very kind lecture. Thank you.
Thank you very much .

Although this tutorial is very straightforward, but my brain easily got it !
I love it , thanks and keep doing more
So beautiful and profesional.....
@CAD CAM TUTORIAL Thanks for uploading these tutorial videos! Really helpful! I cannot stop practicing. But I do have a question, is it possible to create a plane in some way and mirror the rectangle and the 4 holes in it on the other side of the pipe as well? Is there an option that I can copy the last rectangle instead of making it again?
8kSarah Yes you can do that. Create a new reference plane. Use the 2 flat surfaces at the ends of the pipe to create your new plane. Then you can mirror all features about it.
Good time

I was thinking the same thing, so you don't have to do the flange twice. I think you can create a 45 deg plane at the bend and mirror after you make one flange. So long as the design is supposed to be fully symmetric.
Good job buddy.....I like all your videos
perfect teching ..... continue with all drawing
Good Solidworks tutorial for beginner.. good job thanks
Hello sir, Please make some tutorial in drafting.....i think drafting is very helpful.....!!
excellent video, helped me learn some new skills and I will happily subscribe!!!
I follow you sir and learn BASIC and Advance knowledge
really help me introducing myself to solidwork
Could you not copy the first flange and duplicate it on the other end of the the pipe to? Is there a other way to do it?
Thanks man. Helpful.
good tutorial keep going
Bro you forgot to add R10 near flange. Loved your Tutorial
Hallo everyone.. does anyone know what kind of scene used here? I think it is not default scene, thanks
I'll definitely be watching more videos
HI you forgot to add the c10 chamfer to the inside of the flange opening and also the radius applied to the rear of the flange face to the pipe (r10) love the tutorials though, its nice to practice with these to keep up skills
Bhaiii awesome tutorial thank you very much. Need more
Keep it up sir we support u all time I learn solid work form u really mashallah ❤️💕
Awesome. Thank you.
Perfect .. thanks
Hello. Nice to meet you. i' m a Mechanical Engineer in korea. i lived in seoul. The Seoul is capital city of korea. i used AutoCAD(2D) and SolidWorks(3D) during working hours. And see you later.^^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At 6:55 It is better to use hole wizard if you have a supported version for that feature.
And then you realize he even put the bolt holes facing the wrong direction... how are you going to attach that thing to anything? xD
@@PaoloCostaBaldi lool I just noticed it hahaha
hi
First time SW user here. Did everything according to instructions. Couldn't get the circle to sweep. Restarted software. Success. Lesson:3% of the time your are not the fault.
Is it possible to copy the flange from one edge of the pipe to the other using Mirror or Circular pattern so that you don't have to draw the same flange again?
Yes, but you need first to create a datum plane
Thank you so much
Very useful tutorial. Good Work
Wow coming from Catia now learning solidworks. This is seems way more intuitive. Trying to do half the things he just did would make catia lose its mind. I think I will like this software! Also its very similar to geomagic design x which I also have lots of experience with! 🤘🏻
Thanks for video !
After drawing the rectangular section and 4 holes...you can make reference plane in between and then mirror the rectangular section and holes to save time
Awesome tutorial! I've only been using solid works for 5 weeks. I have basic computer skills but using solidworks I feel like a master already. Question about the video, shouldn't the recessed holes on the square pieces be on the other side? I'm assuming the bolt head are used here. Maybe a gasket on that face? Someone educate me please. Thank you
Good work!
As always good
nice video, i learnt few tips, however you forgot the R10 edges
Great video,, congratulations
hello ,,i try to do that extrudeed boss with cut with the rectagle.. but somehow i didnt able to select the rectangle portion ..i have only ption for both rectangle and circle..can you please help'
Thanks a lot for this!
Very helpful. Thank you
Thank you sir.
i did it but its take 4 hours for the first time thanks friend
thank you , we are waiting for more.
No problem! I love helping with tutorials!
Thanks for Tutorial Inspiring boss...
Nice and detailed explanation...😍
Nice explanation..... Thank you for sharing....
Thank you, this is very helpful.
good tutorial, you forgot the 10mm fillet on connecting the flanges to the pipe though! XD
Can't the rectangle at end be copy pasted on other end?
Go terus lah pokoknya
Yeah he did this a lot quicker than I did. I had issues with the sweep of the circular profile because I made the path a construction line. Not sure why solidworks doesn’t like that.
How do i get the "normal to" button in the command manager?
Good work for beginners
I would make all the features on one end, create a 45° plane of reference, then mirror it all to the other end if the entire part is symmetrical.
It turns out you can do this even in FreeCAD. Thanks for the great idea!
hello sir , which Solidworks version are u using ?
Very good - method of taking us through each is good. It will be good if you also create the 2D dwg from this. - as in the 2D dwg was not able to create the center line of the elbow

hi, I'm new to solid works. I couln't figure out how after drawing the first line, your cursor was creating an arc because as you said to move the cursor a bit further and go back to the point and it will automatically start making a circle @1:22 but mine was not. what might be the issue?
great!
