    One great thing about his tutorial is that he teaches you different methods to do the same procedures. As long as you're paying close attention you can learn a lot. I hope to get proficient in SW and refresh my knowledge in Catia also.

    Today I am applying for the position of cad tech in our company. Where the needed software to be used is solidworks, But, in my previous company which is molding injection we used Nx / Unigraphics for modelling. Sometimes we draw in Cad, then extract to NX.
    I will subscribe your channel. To know better in solidworks. Please pray for the my interview.
    I will learn in this video a lot thing. Thank you

    It's important to note that the "thin feature" option does not appear if you create the feature as a solid, but then try to edit the feature and make it a "thin feature".

    @CAD CAM TUTORIAL Thanks for uploading these tutorial videos! Really helpful! I cannot stop practicing. But I do have a question, is it possible to create a plane in some way and mirror the rectangle and the 4 holes in it on the other side of the pipe as well? Is there an option that I can copy the last rectangle instead of making it again?

    • @tobias5740
      @tobias5740 4 года назад +6

      8kSarah Yes you can do that. Create a new reference plane. Use the 2 flat surfaces at the ends of the pipe to create your new plane. Then you can mirror all features about it.

      I was thinking the same thing, so you don't have to do the flange twice. I think you can create a 45 deg plane at the bend and mirror after you make one flange. So long as the design is supposed to be fully symmetric.

Question about the video, shouldn't the recessed holes on the square pieces be on the other side? I'm assuming the bolt head are used here. Maybe a gasket on that face? Someone educate me please.
