I have come back from us and that was the best decision of my life.... Took care of parents as much i could and living peacefully
Great. You must have taken care of all aspects of life before moving back. All the best.
It is mostly guys who say this. As this from your wife or daughter
@@dreamreality2007 yes, women are much more materialistic, so.
Even the mindset of some NRIs is like that. Some create a bubble that India is trash after living abroad for a few years, some feel insecure to move back and convince themselves to live in foreign countries. All a person needs to do is figure out which country suits them the best. Commenting on others choices is really immature. Irony is, there's so much hatred towards India among Indians. If a person has good income and can afford a comfortable life, India is definitely a better place to live in. India definitely has so many issues, but I don't like the way some people are commenting here. Just be happy wherever you are and stop judging the decisions of others. One important thing to remember is, no matter how much we try to disown a country, our roots won't change.
Great content, I have returned to India after 30 yrs in US, I feel great. Jai Hind.
Wow... good to know

Old Marathi song with deep relatable message.
Meaning: lets go back migratory birds.
Its already evening. Time to go back.
Great content.
Health care is relatively affordable and accessible. None of this insurance nonsense and long wait times.
very underrated topic, one thing i observed on parents snd societal pressure is, how much ever you explain or be confident about your return to india choice, they still perceive you as a failure. we can’t change people’s mentality and it subconsciously affects our mind because we live in the midst of such people and their perception is subtly drilled on to us in some form or the other continuously. in fact majority of the time i’ve seen people showing sympathy and offering consolation that you couldn’t settle in foreign land.
True
10000% True. 😢
I guess it's due to currency conversion rate..usd inr. If for example 1 usd would be 10 inr then mentality will also change
Returning back to India is a big success story, every NRI dreams of going back to India one day, but only few can achieve it.
Thanks Hemant..I can relate with each and every point you explained here.. and the way you answered all question is fabulous. Confidence is the key. I suggest to everyone who is experiencing the same situation don’t think you are the citizen of third world country…we are lucky to be born in India..I know we are human and we one need some validation at some point on what we are doing and Hemant is helping us to get that validation.
Thanks for acknowledgement and appreciation
Returning to India or not is totally a personal choice. People who wish to live abroad and have to return to India for various reasons, such as visa issues, may think they are failures, but if one returns by their own choice, then it's okay.
The biggest NRI success return story is Dhirubhai Ambani ji. Agar woh India nhi aate toh Reliance nhi banta.
Correct, like poland or Japanese usually not migrate to other countries, even though many structural problems in Japan. But for Indian, migration is a status symbol. Now many Indian migrate to poor countries like Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria etc., and the family members proud that their son is now settled in Europe.
Because you come back to India and increase the price of everything, for example rentals. Bengaluru rent hike is one major example. Every second flat is being rented to people returning from rich foreign country. Its bitter sweet!
Just going abroad is not enough. To be successful you need to go to US, France, Germany, Australia and maybe Dubai (debatable). You get a whole different level of respect in India. Indian relatives, friends and general public will treat you with respect like a king. Parents are also get status and respect in their social circles- "beta us mein settle hai" vs "beta india mein naukri kar raha hai". I know many who took a decision to go back and regret it. Sad!
40-50% of the your salary every month usually go towards home loan/ rent.
If your home loan is paid off or you live in your parent’s house - Life is less stressful 😅 no matter where you live.
Sozab bhai....you got it right
Very relevant topic and very wise advice, thanks! Hope many learn from it!
Thanks
Some of the reason why people don’t want to return to India
1. Security … deteriorating security, from religious to judicial verdicts
2. Pollution/corruption in every walk of life.. environment, politics, society..
3. Disparities/ inequality , increasing day by day .. economic gap between rich and poor. religious, caste, Creed
4. Extreme Competition .. no childhood for kids, unemployment, lower wages jobs
Main reason people produce more kids in the name of religion and least bothered about their life
Is life in India getting better or worse overall, what is the trend?
True. Life in India has become easier but still very hard. Returning to India is an emotional decision. If someone's parents were living abroad with them, would they return? I don't think so.
Spot on!!
You exactly mentioned most part what everyone in the situation is experiencing.
Why we Indians need a brand of other country to define us....the most shameful situation...😊
As an Indian, you will never be truly welcomed into another country. The small instances where you feel welcome are reserved for when the people there are feeling very jolly and kind (These are getting rarer and rarer as capitalism squeezes the life juice out of everyone and everyone is pissed all the time). Otherwise, you will be tolerated at best, and even at minor inconveniences, people will mutter, speak or even scream aggressive words towards you. This is no way to live. Earn, save, come back, and preferably to the place where you grew up and can call home. Don't become a statistic in another country, god forbid.
True
We need to adapt and not the other way around. Do you think in India life is not hard? I say it is other way around.
@@LifeJoyAdventureVlogs Yeah, let's all 'adapt' to racially charged insults. No thank you. Nice attempt at conflating issues, not going to work. But still, I will address it. Life in India isn't that hard if you've gathered enough money to not work and enjoy. You can literally live like a king.
@@LifeJoyAdventureVlogs yes life is very hard for poor people in India. But very smooth for rich and Middle classes in India.
Jo India mein usko bahar jana Jo bahar hai usko India aana hai.
My 18 year experience.
Hitting the nail on head dude. I don’t know how to deal with my American born and raised children. Panic mode whenever I visit India and see other relatives children.
Why panic
Very relevant topic. I just returned from India after a 2 month stay caring for my parents.
Dubey Saab, you nailed it! Fantastic viewpoint
Hi Hemant. Been following you for long and you have definitely been one of the influencers in our decision to move back. You are candid, and very knowledgeable, making it easy to relate to. My problem is and I’m hoping an honest reply from you-
I am a girl dad. And all my relatives in Bangalore are suggesting us to stay back because it is safer in Europe for daughters.
What do you think about this? Is it so bad from our times or is it better and we are misjudging because of comparison between India and Europe.
Regards
I am also a girl dad living in Noida and there are millions like me.......
@@hemantaim hmm, that’s why it’s lucrative and seems possible because you and some others who moved back say that. But sadly the pressure from family back in India is tremendous.
Thanks for giving me confidence!
grt topic. Thnks for discussing it
Thanks
Same with me.mein jana chahti hu parere husband nahi jana chahte.we are in London.mujhe lagta h ki hum India m acche se rahenge in comparison to London.i am going in depression.i am crying literally but he is not understanding
Any suggestion can you give I want to go from here.i don't sleep also.always in tension
Each person or family has a different story and situation so the decion to return or settle abroad or have a base in both countries is a personal choice or decision - no right ir wrong or future is uncertain. Having said that in current times with changes in technology and Indian culture and trends the so called attraction to foreign lifestile ia reducing, however many still like to go for career or other economic prospects. Similarly returning also will have some reasons - be it career, business or personal or retirement reasons. Dont take in to account what your frinds, relatives or neighbors think. Insteas focusnon your own and family plans and future requirements and take a planned and informed decision.
Agreed
My serious questions is why most Indians in the US don't work on their accents? It's hard to understand sometimes.
Yes correct sir 💯🎉🎉🎉
no problem return to India should often require to tell "yah yah yah" look foreign return.
Good Topic.Btw is it a good idea to take up permanent residency of an European country and once you get it return back to India? That way you always have the avenue of another country open in case of need....
When someone says Japan, Germany, China, Sweden what image comes to the mind. Now I say India what is the image. And there is your answer.
Answer is materialism. You may call me unrealistic.
@@Pp.703 For the most of us materialistc properity is a dream. Hard to deny and shouldnt be denied.
@@LifeJoyAdventureVlogs Yes, nobody is denying it, but it is never ending cycle.
We returned happily in 2009.....after that many short trips abroad were made but Ghar, family, India मे है
No country or place is bad as long as you can live peacefully.
There are great examples like Dhirubhai Ambani who chose India as a battle ground to win!
Depends on individuals and respective situations that would drive the decisions.
Sir quality life he in first grade contrys me
Achchhi health fesilitys achchha khana pina sudhdh hava infrastructure etc
great content
Very good topic of discussion!
If you are financial independent, then you will enjoy RTI. However, if you are not financially independent or you can not sit at home doing nothing, India is not the place, because there are no jobs!
(Whatever jobs there, are only in IT and services. Manufacturing and Mechanical is long time dead!
Sir, how can i keep income source from foreign and return to india permanently. US citizenship and then OCI
OR
KEEP GREEN CARD AND TRAVEL FREQUENTLY.
OR
Give up GC
Green card will depend on which category(EB1 or EB2 etc) it's filled....so usually it takes decade/s .....so be there enjoy US and earn.......when you stop enjoying come back
@@hemantaim what to enjoy if there are more struggles and having back to back set backs
@akashpatel7926 if you happy stay there and if not then come back......I kept it simple
It's people's mentality. I am in US since 4 years and had job and financial issues as well as my parents health went bad in 3 years. Though we earned but not enough savings. So I am planning to return after I get my desired amount bcoz financial prb was the main reason I came to US. Still in dilemma what to do...?
if someone is able to get Group A,B Government job here in India then one should think of moving abroad or not?
kindly post your perspective.
Thanks
Then it's not about money however personal choice
Best knowledge hemant sir
Thanks buddy

Actually no one wants to return people are compelled to return because of visa issues personal family issues
Our people never truly liked first-world countries. They admired the powerful currency, which could provide a better life in a third-world country like India. If you don't earn well even after moving to a first-world country, people will consider you a financial failure.
Sir do u have us citizenship + oci or visitors visa...?
None of above
@@hemantaim then how do u make short trips to us..?
India mein 80 crore log 5 kg gov ration per depend this harsh reality, Dar lagta ap India mein kaunse politics ka sikhar ho jaayenge , Business karna bohot difficult hai ,Har jagah corruption hai .
Envious nature
Ents sirf apne bachcho ko grow karna chahte he
Khud akele rahte he par bachcho ko achchha vatavaran dena chahte he
Delhi NCR full of pollution and traffic
Tbh India needs to create a separate province for NRIs & Pardesis. How can we live mixed with people that don't understand how to maintain cleanliness, cross a road, construct quality buildings with various codes...
What?....
I thought it is success 😕
Yes it is.....that's what is debate for people who treated as failure
@@hemantaim when I came back for couple of years, everyone was happy.
But I couldn't save my face when I told them that I need to go back for 3 more years as I bought more real state then I could afford :-(
thank you sirrrr!!!!!
