I'm just looking for something that beats out the yoga pro 9i for an all-round package and I'm not seeing that either of these are that compelling. Of the two though, the pro 5i with upgraded screen and 4070 would be my pick if the price went on sale for a competitive price. Im just waiting for black Friday and taking whoever offers the best deal.
Edit: actually having the upgradable ram would also be pretty big for the pro 5i but lack of sd card reader is definitely a bummer. I dont have an sd card reader on my laptop now and its a pain to lug one around and deal with it as tou put your laptop in and out of backpacks having to unplug and replug a zillion things.

If only the proart had a high refresh rate screen it wouldve been the perfect package. All the other flaws are minor like the lack of number pad or the fact it doesnt open 180 degrees flat and the unability to upgrade the ram. Just buy the 32gb. The percentage of people that need more than 32gb is tinier than you think. Great review,

Just get the zephyrus g16 it’s almost the same laptop as the proart, except it can go up to a rtx4090 and has a 240hz refresh rate

@@jackcase6281 its far from being the same laptop, screen is not as colour accurate, no touch screen or styus compatibility, and the g16 is also more expensive. The touch screen is a big selling point for me. I was consideriong the yoga pro 9i for that reason.

It's a shame that the ProART does not offer a higher refresh rate on the screen; it's a whole more compelling package than the G14/16 performance-wise, but the screen is a let down

I love lenovo but it's a shame they prefer intel over amd, so I'd take the asus anydays over lenovo
