Great quality Koi's love the vid, hey i have a question i have some of koi fish i live in Philippines and my question is do Koi's in Philippines are japanese? Thank u😁
All koi are of Japanese ancestry. The difference is that in Japan very strict quality control in regards to maintaining and improving the "standard" of each variety is practiced. Where as elsewhere around the world, koi are very often cross bred often times without proper matching of type, as a result "mutt" koi are the result. This is not to say that other countries are lacking in high quality koi.
Good explanation indeed! Thanks for sharing. Indeed alle Koi in Philippine in the end came from Japan. I have met people from Philippines before when I was in Japan btw. And they bought some outstanding high class 2/3 year old Koi at Dainichi Koi Farm
Enjoyed that - some very nice koi in the main pond. The barrels hanging over the small ponds? Is that a trickle filter? What is the media? It would be nice if you could explain what they are.
Yes the barrels were trickle filters indeed. Im not sure what medium is used in it. Ik didn't pay attention to them enough
