Very interesting video buddy, for the noodles you mentioned Bun bo, with most variation called Bun bo hue which hails from Hue a little further north from Danang. Its pronounced as BOON BOR. All the best!
Da Nang is not only a touristic place like Bali, Chiang Mai, Siem Reap, but you can actually live and work there, since it's the most major city in the Central Vietnam and the most livable city in Vietnam overall, it's close to mostly everywhere in Asia by air, it has a lot of expats, foreign businesses, night life, top-ranked universities, startup village, IT park, high tech park, sport arena... I hope you enjoy the staying there in Vietnam :))))
Our last day was ruined by a very bad experience with car rental. The guy gave us a faulty car so we were stuck in the middle of nowhere fixing up and overheated engine. I called him and told him that i will return the car and want the money back. When we returned to his office, the guy wasn’t there and he was telling me that i should wait 20 more minutes for him. His employees for laughing at us in Vietnamese and nobody was giving the money back. After we told them that we’re going to police and started to get back into the car they started harassing us, grabbing our hands and shouting “fuck you”. All this in front of two kids. Only after it got to a boiling point where we literally pointed the car at them they gave us the money back. The boss guy never showed up tho. It was a very disappointing behavior, lack of communication and aggression towards foreigners. This really changed my mind on viewing Vietnam as a place for living. Hopefully it won’t happen to anyone again.
@@MINUTESOFFIRE As a Vietnamese, I am really sorry to hear your bad experience with the car rental. It might happen sometimes, Vietnamese are generally kind but they get escalated quickly on street if something happens not the way they suppose, because they are not all well educated, especially in the case of language conflict, so the only thing they can say is "f*ck you", that's offensive in English but they might not really mean it. And I hope it's just a rare occasion to happen. Just in case you're still in Vietnam, I can assist you with any problem with communication, maybe via Facebook messenger, cos I am living abroad recently, also I am not Da Nang local, but we speak one language anyway :))
Thank you for your kind words and for offering help! I really appreciate it. I am leaving Vietnam tomorrow and heading to Hong Kong :)
@@MINUTESOFFIRE Hong Kong is also a great city worth visiting, if I visit China, Hong Kong would definitely be the first place of my list. So anytime back to Vietnam you got a friend here to support :)) I hope you not to hold any hard feeling with the unpleasant experience, and best of luck with your upcoming trips!!
@MINUTESOFFIRE who did you rent from?
😋💛👍😇
