    What a brilliant tour! This man was meant to steward this chateau. He has a fantastic vision and it's wonderful to hear the commitment to history as well as his ideas of how to preserve and move forward the years to come. Lovely.

    I love the quirkiness of the house with the hidden floors. Also can you write down the name of the rhododendron please and if you know of a nursery selling it that would be great as I will just have to get it now . Keep up the good work.

    Is the owner 2 m tall or the living rooms' ceilings is too low?

      He is 1m90 tall. And if you refer to the small Salon, don't forget that it is a private appartement, built in a half floor.

    Something is amiss! Your entrance to the home at the beginning of this video showed weeds on the ground. A caring homeowner would bend down and pull them before filming.

    Chauteaux is looking very rough. Where is all the money going? Are these old buildings, funded greatly by the French government, simply a means for using that money to fund your lifestyle? Something akin to the explosion of “non profits” here in the US that do very little humanitarian good but allow the staff to retain a generous salary and lifestyle?
