I posted this and a few minutes later i regretted not talking about her timing. She’s keeping up with that jazz drummer like crazy. On top of that, she wrote all this stuff! I just keep peeling back layers of the onion on her and I’ve been a fan for 25 years.
Yes, violent, too. Her guitars take a licking and keep on ripping. For me she's a savant in every way. Musically, lyrically, personally. One of the best examples of a person who faces their challenges head on and reaps the benefits gracefully. 😍

Ani is still so god damn cool it hurts. You can sense some weariness in her -- some inevitable cynicism -- but she soldiers on.
