Located in pudong new area and about 22 miles from the city center, Shanghai wild animal park is the first national grade wild zoo in china and house of giant panda. It's a whole day's journey of exciting adventures, magical experience and amazing performances.
Park is huge! It was great experience to be able to pat, play and feed animals. My personal advice is, bring comfortable shoes, some food and plan a bit. there were maps available at entrance. Somehow i was way too excited about panda so i have wasted too much time and missed the few shows!! They have plenty of pandas and one small one year too. A best time to see animal is on there feeding time. it is awesome experience.
