"Baby Boomer Cartoons Rule" I'm 54 I know.from '59 to 72' there was no bad cartoons on Saturday From 6;am,'til noon. Us kids had sleepovers 15 kids making cereal and eggs Doors were never locked neither neighbors were neighborly. I miss those days!
seeing this After so long Gave me wonderful nostalgia! Thank you very much, mschwarzzz, For uploading it. :) PS: MattBL, You just compared hippies to goths. That's like comparing Pillows to Rifles. 5/5
thanks but where is the original intro theme-i have a feeling that somehow it is banned by cartoon networks or deliberatly removed to make way for the newer version!!cannot be found anywhere!!
This, the Jetsons, Top Cat, Flintstones...these were cartoons...oh yeah Bugs et al. But I am also a huge fan of The Fairly OddParents - the closest thing to retro cartooning! (And yes, admittedly...I do use some old SpongeBob and Patrick scenarios (remember 'wee woo' ? Made folks shoot beer, milk, and other various liquids shoot out the nose - LOL)...
anyone have the footage of the ending of Fractured Fairy tales where the guy is sweeping the flower petals up? I know a guy that looks exactly like him and I want to be able to show that part to him. Thanks!
Mine? Hm, i am not as old as u think i am, heh. :) and ok, lets end this argument, seems like we're just spamming this poor girls/boys comment section, haha.
THe original is much better, because you actually have to have an education, and some breadth of knowledge to get all the jokes, unlike the new version, which is simply retread sightgags that were old when Chaplin and Lloyd and Keaton did them in the 1920's, to much better effect.
Always loved George of Jungle. Ursela to you too Ingrid.
Always one of my favorites when i was a kid along with Rocky and Bullwinkle, Super Chicken and Roger Ramjet.
Thanks for the Saturday morning memories!
George is still my favorite after all these years. What a Champion!
This is GOLD. Its amazing how the more things change the more they stay the same.
Yes, both of these series were created by Jay Ward, They used the same ainmated voices, same announcer, etc.
Ha! I remember watching this on Independent TV in the early 1970's, & I'm sure some remember watching it when it was made in the late 1960's.
Love! Love! Love!....Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!....It must have been a good batch of the Jungle Acid, man!
Ha! I remember this episode! Classic stuff. I miss shows like this.
"I paid 'em to take a dive!" hahahaha....Probably Bullwinkle alumni resposible for this cartoon as well as Super Chicken and Tom Slick.
LMAO this is such a remember of this show when i was a kid
When I queried George I was so hoping to find this very episode. It's a riot!!

George didn't call the Hippos, he called the Hippies! Hahahahahahahahaha ☺☺☺☺☺
This ep’s called “kings back to back” if you’re curious
Just love the cartoon.
Wow, this show was really awesome! Also whatchacallium! That's the precursor to Unobtanium. I love how these lampshades were done even back then.
Hippis rock, nothing wrong with Hippies!!!! Good post, Scottish:)5 stars.
this is way older than me but i remember when i was a child, i LMAOED just because the "watch out for that tree" thing.
Very mature response, your son must be proud. :)
It maybe limited animation, but it's written better and more intelligently than anything I've seen in the past few years.
George, George, George of the jungle strong as he can be, ladadada
This was so funny. used to be my favorite cartoon.
Thank you for posting,very cool...
Great cartoon!
Great stuff, they should bring this back for the kids!
george, you didn't called the hippo's you called the hippies! lol
Oh my, i didn't know i was arguing with an adult, lol.
I like when George says "George abduct him with jungle JUDO Throw" at 3:31 Maybe he tried to do a Jungle Ippon, lol.
Wow, more, more!!
"Watch out for that treeeeeeeeeee"!!!

YAY, HIPPIES!!! "Love love love"
That's funny...thanks for sharing that
we are up to our expectations in hippos..
The Rich Tycoon is channeling voice of Quisp of Quisp Cereal fame ...
I agree entirely with all of you!!
George reminds me of the William Shatner spoof from Family Guy. The movements are just hilarious!
I meant to say that I watched reruns of this in the mid or late 90s.
This is the George Of The Jungle cartoon I remember. The remake on CN is a disgrace.
thanks but where is the original intro theme-i have a feeling that somehow it is banned by cartoon networks or deliberatly removed to make way for the newer version!!cannot be found anywhere!!

Where can I find anymore episodes of George of the Jungle out there?
Two missionaries in every pot.
Oh God.
I never realized this was from the same people who did Rocky and Bullwinkle. It is, right?
So I don't "know funny" or don't know what real cartoons are like, just because I don't like something that you do? Very funny. :)
This is an awesome cartoon! Hahahahaha!
I hate to admit it, but I like the new one much better.
anyone have the footage of the ending of Fractured Fairy tales where the guy is sweeping the flower petals up? I know a guy that looks exactly like him and I want to be able to show that part to him. Thanks!
Well, looks like they'd already identified the problems with Corporatism back in 1967. Too bad we never did anything about them, though.
As Seen on The Cousin Cliff Show
Take care!
reminds me of an old cuban cartoon
Wow so serious.
LuLz Gerorge swings. That could have more than one meaning. XD!!!!
Nonsense! Jay Ward cartoons of the 50s/60s are terrific. Way better than Songebob anyday!
yeah yeah yeah
If you don't see the commentary then you are irony inhibited.
this cartoon was so funny.. it's hard to believe they made such crappy movies after it!
I don't understand why people didn't know how to draw back then. Did erasers not exist? I've seen cave art with cleaner lines than this.
Worlds richest typhoon
lol
This was the 60's
@SgtHydra i didn't understand that part ):
@RAQ665 Disney bought the licence, I think the new show is on its channel, but still sucks
I still find the Old G.O.T.J funnier then the new one. The new one sucks.
Because he swings. lol
actually has a very relevant political message !
Is whatchacallium the same as unobtainium?
INDEED!
King
King
HAHAHAHAHA HIPPIES!
Mine? Hm, i am not as old as u think i am, heh. :)

@morrj1 These jewels would be gone forever if not for you tube, men never grow up just learn how to act in public
yeah well, the new remakes of all the cartoons suck.
Lol this is crap. The 90s are the best decade for cartoons
the new one on cartoon network sucks.
hahaha
LOL the Liberals won! damn!
Wow I always hated that show
The cartoon network version sucks so damn much!! They've kill the transformers too! Dude why are they ruining the classics...Whats next GI Joe?
90's cartoons are the best, this is crap.
wow, surprisingly funny!
