I did that saturday when there was one in front of me.
I picked up like a 25lbs snapping turtle that was in the middle of the road it was trying to bite my fingers off. 3yr old comment I know lol

rebuild the head/valves maybe a rough port and polish since you have to pull it to fix the valves?
retap the spark plug
keep the engine, do a mild race build on it, get a new piston and run 92.

Nauris Do we know if its a 2 stroke? Idk if thats too high of RPMs for a 4 stroke.
I have a Chinese 4 stroke quad and stock it does 10,000 rpm

That thing has potential. Led lights.fix the valves. Shave the head. Bigger exhaust. Jet the carb.k&n filter.Slightly bigger tires.

Looks like a Roketa G107 go cart. I just got one...same frame etc. but mine has a 150cc motor. My son and I are fixing it up. Nice to see you help the turtle and not mess with it like so many morans do these days. Have fun!!!!!
i got a quad that has that same engine and it doesn't run but it might have good parts (like piston and valves and top end stuff) so if you want i can look at it and send the parts if they are still useable

+CarsandCameras instal a 125cc big bore and a oversized valve head kit on that engine and a 22mm carb
Heli-coils or a keen-sert set is a must for a Small engine guy. Stripped spark plugs are a easy fix most of the time. Also put Grease on your Tap. Holds all the filings from going in engine.
copper wire around the spark plug would work better

This is more the kind of go-kart that I want. Looks like so much fun.
I think those take the same plug as a GY6. Check on Amazon, I seen those motors in like a 125 and maybe even 200 for super cheap.
That is a gy6, not the same as those scooter motors you probably thinking of, but it is a Chinese gy6
Usually a single will not run with a bent valve and for sure it won't idle, so there is a good chance they are not bent. Very entertaining video though, you guys are good fun to watch, keep with it.

CarsandCameras Just picked one of these up. Its a tao tao GK110. Atleast thats what it looks like. They are much bigger in person than they look on the computer. Mine has had the rear frame stretched about a foot and a 1974 honda cb360 engine and 6 speed trans mounted on it. Man let me tell ya this thing rips!! It gets kinda sketchy at around 60 mph. Im gonna put some stiffer springs on mine to help with the bouncing. You guys should totally mount a motorcycle drive train on one of these! easy to do and so much more fun. Just pick up an old bike off craigslist that the owner may have lost the title to or is just parting out. They are much cheaper that way. All you need is the drivetrain anyway, and maybe the tach to mount on your cart!

Nice find, way cheap! I recently scored an american express danco vintage, full rolling chassis from my neighbor for a hundred bucks, covered in surface rust but solid. Just got it apart and sanded. The whole cart is now rust patina with satin clearcoat, looks awesome, real dark rust color, with tons of shades! Going with a Ducar 212, (predator killer) and stage one exhaust mods to start!
2 stroke dirt bike engine , 5 speed , get 4 wheeler front and rear suspension, and this would be bad ass ...... I know you can find a blown up 2wd 4 wheeler to use the suspension .......... What ever you do , its going to be bad ass ..

+CarsandCameras Put a piranha 160cc pit bike engine in that thing. a little expensive for the kit but its a 4 gear manual monster. my pit bike with that in it goes like 78 mph topped ouy with stock gearing. and its a bolt in engine. it would fit in that cart like a glove.

Infinite how much for one? I might check it out! But the motor I'm getting is used for $200 with a dirt bike frame, and it needs head work but I have rebuilt a predator 212cc head before so this should roll easy.
CarsandCameras is the off-road gokart you got above manco? Yerfdog? Because the number one motor yerfdog uses is a 150cc 7hp gy6 with a torque converter, and a stupid motor that is because the wiring it uses is stupid, so in my case the stock motor that came on the yerfdog jade the wiring harness go bad, and its irreplaceable so new motor is being bought this week or the next! I'm excited to start fixing the head on it, on the comment under this I state the problem with the motor, and I can fix it. And when I fix it and install it I look forward to popping clutches and revving motors because it has the clutch!

I have always wantee a gokart just like that. Ive been asking and looking for one for over 5 years. They look so fun. I have always been interested in gokarts and fixing cars. Im saying I love this channel and its definitely one of my favorites. thank you for the videos. Ive been watching since like 20k subs maybe. but yall a re funnt and reallg cool on camera
they make a 140cc performanceish motor that will bolt in that rear cage it has a four speed trans too

they sell em on ebay its horribly chromed out but ive bought a couple and they work welll
The cleanest alternative is probably finding a used pit bike engine, yx 160 or z 155 if possible, it´s a drop in and has around 13 real hp with something like a mikuni 26, 7 more then your current setup when it´s running ok (DongFang 110CC) besides there are loads of aftermarket parts for them and you can build it up to 184 pretty cheap. slap a TB v2 big valve head with the big bore and you will be doing right around 18 hp. All you gotta do you mount a 3 rd pedal for a cable clutch and trade the reverse gear for a 4th one!

I had a neighbor sell me the exact same kart for 100 with a snowmobile motor on it but the sprockets were broken off.
due to being in an apartment and not having a place to work on it at the time the guy sold it again and just gave me the 100 back after leaving it on his property for a few months.
I regret that even damn day. I've been searching for an off road kart for months now can't find anything under 300 bucks

I'm pretty dang sure that has the gy6 family of motor on it just like mopeds do. If it does those things are SUPER easy to modify and get more power out of. I had a moped that I bored out from 49cc to 80cc and added a bigger valve head and performance cam and I did this all when I was 14 Parts are everywhere along with tons of information on these things. +carsandcameras you guys should get a big bore kit alot of ppl use them on moped engines it will give you the added power as well as solve the valve issue while still keeping your stock bottom end and gearing

Love that you guys stopped to help the turtle. Just so you know that wasn’t a box turtle it was a yellow slider or yellow cooter. Box turtle will love primarily on land, and that slider lives majority of time in the water. It was probably an adult male looking for some new areas with some new girls.

i say it once again. small engines run lean without the air cleaner on. put the air cleaner on and that engine will be more responsive on the throttle plus you are running it hot with air cleaner off. lean equals heat . a little rich actually runs cooler from the fuel atomizing in the cylinder.

I believe that Jug (bigger cylinder and piston)bolt on kits are available for those little engine on E-bay, more power is good.

My cousin has the same exact gocart. He cut the back of the frame off and welded a plate over the rear of the frame. Then he put a predator 212 and a comet torque averter on it and it rips now.
Make Formula 1 style cantilever suspension and torsion style sway bars maybe a Watson link rear end that would be the ultimate freaking go kart using a Cushman rear end that's been narrowed........mullet headed fist bump if ur witt me!!!!!!

I have a Baja Dune 150 I put a 300ex Engine into. These little gokarts usually use a GY6150 or a Honda Clone 110.

My dad's friend had one in an old trailer and I was gifted it, finally restoring it!!!
btw it had everything, motor, roll cage and whole complete frame!!
You should check out two guys trail gear for some LEDs to help with the night time ! We even make a 15 inch light bar that would fit well on it !

I bought the 250 cc of the same china made go carts back in 2010 , I put some trx atv tires rims and got rid of all the c,a,r,b crap, I had it for years , the frame started to rot away so I junked it but it was lots of fun,,,,
it has a 110cc engine on it,3 speed semi auto.about 600 for racing cams and new head,jug,and a4th gear. i did it to mying,its wicked
