There is a bug in the first version of the 3.0 release mod that has been fixed that doesnt allow for rebels to upgrade their base past level 3 in skirmish mode, just download latest version on modb and you should be fine! :)

The Sins of a Solar Empire mod Star Wars Interregnum mod does it at least somewhat well. More of a RTS game and the combat is really more 2D, but best one I've seen so far.

@@jadenjaden1151 can we have him finish the current playthrough first? He never did finish the black sun playthrough and it bugged me, because I was actually enjoying that playthrough.
@@joemcnulty6814 i mean yeah ofc i just think a quick playthrough of this mod wont take long because its kinda bare-bones in terms of new galactic conquest mechanics (no land yet), and he could do prob both
@@jadenjaden1151 the only problem is that I don't think he does more than one campaign at a time for this game.
@@jadenjaden1151 not if you do 3 factions with one starting planet each, i started one with me being the rebels, while me getting the upper right-ish quarter of the map the empire captured the other 3 quarters including all of the consortium planets, which means they'll fling mandator-2's and lucrehulks left and right at you. ....yaay fun...?
It's been years since I have played this title, and when I stumbled across your "coming soon" video, I was pretty inspired to buy it on steam, over searching my basement for the original discs. I'm gonna be real. I am gonna play this soon, when I get home from my families and I really wanna have a look at the Criminal Underworld. It sounds like it's a collection of them. With tons of pirate characters and old-school tech. Etc etc. I am interested in how the Remake mod does it in conjunction with the way they handle special planets.

Gotta love this community. Fans make great devs when it comes to giving customers what they want. It's the hair club argument: "I'm not just a member. I'm a customer too." It's a powerful argument in the case of Empire at War.

This Mod is the DEFINITION OF OVERKILL! When the Background effect are so good that I can't see my units. That is a problem.

As soon as I saw the description about being used in the clone wars I was hooked
Nothing is cooler or more menacing than seeing loads of ships slowly sweeping over a large area to battle an enemy.
This mod brought to the table what I have always wanted.. The kind of mod I have searched over the past 2 year or so for. To be able to travel to other galaxies like the rishi maze and other companion galaxies. Its like if Emperor Palpatine succeeded in destroying the rebellion and moved on with his plans to take over the whole universe.
If you like this sort of thing make sure to check out the Star Wars Interregnum mod for Sins of a Solar Empire. Best RTS space game mod Star Wars imo. Also SOASE Rebellion (which the mod runs on) is on special on steam atm.

Possibly a silly question, but is there a setting to just watch a war between two factions without actually playing? I love doing that on other games.
as much as i dig thrawns revenge, this mod is something else. i like the removal of ground and the focus on awesome space battles.
Its amazing what the modders managed to get out of this old engine.

FInished a galactic conquest in hard mode before I even finished upgrading to Tech 3. The Devs really need to low the time requirement of tech research a bit.
Lol its imposible i tried but you cant produce any fucking ship until tech 3 and you will be dead before that
They had gone crazy . At least they would have let the tech 2 to be more faster
@@max-and1 You can produce Vindicator Gladiator , Immobilizer 418 and TPC at Tech 1. There is a bug which prevent these ships from showing up as build options. Just click the ship building filters several times until they show up and you will be good to go.

Good evening/morning to everybody ! I have a question. I don't understand why I have only 3 factions (The Galactic Empire, the Rebellion and the Consortium) in the mod. When I opened the mod data files, I clearly saw that there are Vong ships, CSI, Criminal Underworld but I don't have the possibility to choose these factions in the game. Please how to get the Criminal Underworld and all the other factions ? Yes, I'm a newbie. Thank you !
Because there are 3 factions. Cis ships are available for criminal underworld.
To use that ships you need to conquer specific planets to produce them
0:29 I see that TheXPGamers can choose the Criminal Underworld. I don't have that choice even though I downloaded the latest version of the Empire at war remake mod. Does he use an addon or something ?

ctrl+leftt click will add all units on screen of the type you click on to your unit selection, unless the mod changes that

What are the big differences between ReMake and Awakening of the Rebellion? Which do you like better?
Do people more ppl play Star Wars EaW or FoC nowadays? Which has the better mods? Trying to figure out which to hop onto having not played in years
So a honest review. Love the graphics quality on the models a lot. it's amazing what's been done. The one thing I'm patiently waiting for is ground to be added back in. I know they want to revamp it but something about no land battles in eaw feels odd to me.
Another thing I noticed is fighter hunting seems less accurate than before. Also a minor thing I noticed is when the s foils on the x wing are open you can see through the a big gap in back section of the ship
And to think I just found out about this game a week ago. Perfect timing.
Are there like leader units? Or anything like that? I’ve seen footage but all I’ve found is people fighting darth. Is there a Luke you can send around or anything? Or can we use darth? Lol

Captain,I regret to inform you that on my own Awakening of the Rebellion save,the Liberation sustained heavy damage after holding out against an Allegiance class Star Destroyer over Kuat.She fought hard,protecting Home One which got hit by hyper velocity cannon fire,nearly downing the Alliance's flagship.She is now undergoing repairs in the newly captured drive yards and we have ended up converting General Dodonna's assault frigate into a medical ship for the wounded.I apologize for the damage sustained by the Liberation.This is Captain Kinsella of the Dreadnought 'Redemption',signing off for the night.Merry Xmas.

With same grafiics settings my fps now getting down a bit faster when i build some more units.

PS: i often see that people can use the canera free while in cinematic mode. How can i do that? My camera always use a scripted way in cinematic mode.
