We need to be honest with ourselves, many of those players aren't LFC standard but they flattered to deceive for a while. Everytime I watch them, I find myself missing Henderson, Gini, Firmino, Mane etc.

Look at Trent’s positioning for the first disallowed goal, and the second goal
For the second goal where the hell is the desire to cover his man….
on the ball he is world class, but I feel that he is becoming increasingly disinterested in defending and tracking back and helping the team….
His positioning in that disallowed goal is not due to being caught high up, when luiz is looking for the pass, see how the back 4 are in line tgt, 3 excluding Trent plays the offside trap but look how Trent drops and plays Watkins on….
Poor reading and concentration
I loved Trent, but it is undeniable that his defending for the past 3 seasons is shambolic and is the key reason for the imbalance in defensive nous….
Look at how much balance Gomez or Bradley brings in when they play at Rb..
Trent is a luxury player free role player that we simply cannot accommodate for, I still believe he can succeed as an Xabi Alonso or Pirlo type deep lying playmaker in midfield, but this will require pairing him with a top level 6 or he has to wake up his bloody idea and actually defend
Sometimes I think perhaps we need a new fresh pair of eyes on our team to correct the limitations we clearly have.
This end to the season is really not enough from Liverpool, whoever the manager is or going…Liverpool should be winning games against Everton, Crystal Palace at home and Aston Villa when 3-1 up with less than 10 minutes to go!
In fact, it is fooking abysmal from the team, Klopp, and not the winning level Liverpool FC expects. Shankly and Paisley would never let this happen!
No balance anymore, it’s gung-ho football. Defenders no longer defending properly, too much distance between everybody. No control, chaotic football…Slot must bring some sanity, control, and game management here.
They must needs a proper lesson and a new strategy before the next premier league season starts 🤔

I Still want to know why the Sudden drop off. Luckily we are All Judging Klopp on the fact he’s the Spirit of Shankly bringing happiness and joy but. Sadly lost Titles coz of Draws this season for example so far 10 =20 points dropped.

This defence leaves me speechless
Another masterclass in Liverpool where the defending was courageous and solid. Ball retention was superb, never giving it away in dangerous areas to the opposition. Trent was switched on as usual, never losing his man. Nunez was unlucky to be offside for the 15th time. The great thing was the flexibility in our play always telegraphing the chip into the box for salah. Without question things look promising for next season. Quadruple here we come!....and then I woke up!!!!!!😝😝😝
The problem is the defence really wrost that have caused the whole team down lfc really need to rebuild the bloody defence if they wanted to win 🏆 tropic next season 😮
I think its down to investment in quality players.
I read the otherday that since Artetta has been Arsenal manager he has spent twice as much in 5 years than Jurgan has his whole tenure at Liverpool 🤯

I think this is prime reason for Jurgan leaving and being exhausted!
You can't compete year in year out with teams who are buying world class players while we're looking in the bargain basements of world football.
Jurgan has worked miracles and turned avarage/potential players into super stars but that takes a lot of hard work which has probably exhausted him to the point of leaving.
He's looking over his shoulder a seeing Newcastle (who will in time be competing with City) and Arsenal over taking us,
He's probably realised that he can't compete anymore without strong investment from our owners and though "Fuck This, Im Off"

Klopp has made the right decision to leave. He's man enough to admit he can't do it anymore and admits if he stays, next season will be even worse.
Let's say goodbye to klopp Sunday and look forward to a new era under slot.
Liv over achieved this season.. totally new Mid. Will need a new CB with Matip leaving. Quansah been good in parts but has been directly responsible for 5-6 goals since Man U game. Need the 2022 Bajcetic back. Macca cannot play 6 alone.. need to be part of double pivot.

Lets have it right. The edge went from the team after the Atalanta 1st leg defeat. Whinging about a meaningless game against Aston Villa is pointless. It's been a good season. CL football + A trophy....which is more than Arsenal might achieve....Thanks Jurgen but we move on. Just need to sign a midfield monster who can tackle and run all day.

What the Hell was Van Dyke doing playing a firing a ball through our penalty area to Macca who is facing Alisson- Gomez is free to his left and its a simple 15 yard ball, not a villa play in sight, its a no risk pass and we take 4 Villa players out. No Van Dyke plays a suicide ball to Macca and he can not do anything with it, its actually fired at him. and he as players on him . Van Dyke can see it, what a Rsoul VVD IS

Honestly,it's better Klopp leaves. He is an underachiever. Every title he lost this year was within his reach. Even the premier league titles he lost by one point only to City..one can say the same thing. He was not correcting players. When they make much horrible misses in the 6 yard box you would see him applauding. The team is not playing good football. No shooting. The ball possession is just back passes: Van Dyke to Quansa or Konate,to Allison ,then back until they are under pressure and they pass to opponents. The standard is poor,not deserving of club like LFC. Look at the 2nd goal from Villa..what prevented Van Dyke from playing out properly instead of passing tob Mcallister?Enough of these sub standard plays..
