Apar-Kaya interprets the story of Vedavati and Sita existing in two time dimensions. Unfolding through the singing of the weavers who compare the rigid threads of the loom with Vedavati, and the emerging cloth, soft but resilient, with Sita.

Both normal odia and koshli or sambalpuri are used in this performance the first song is in sambalpuri and the song in 4.25 are sambalpuri and other are normal odia
