      1st hole lip out
11th hole needed some Verne Lundquist
16th hole he didn't hit hard enough
17 hole he just hooked it.
He should have won the "British." Could have won this one with a little more luck. Then he won the Tour Championship and The Masters?

This round reminds me of me. No long game, good short game. Of course, Tiger`s idea of a good round is about fifteen strokes lower than mine if we were playing the same course from the same tees, but hey, that`s why he`s Tiger and I`m just another four handicapper.

Jerry Parker Basketball will survive without Lebron James. Soccer will survive without Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. Formula One will survive without Lewis Hamilton. Does that mean people just want to watch sports? No, it is always exciting to watch the best do the best. And with Tiger Woods, you have no idea how much impact he’s had to golfers around the world. Lots of people started playing golf because of him. All those current athletic players nowadays learned from his work ethic. During his domination, he made golf exciting to watch (golf is participation sport, not spectating) And his next win would be one of the greatest come back in sport world.

I think I speak for the majority of people who play golf and who enjoy watching Tiger including myself, if i say - The reason I love watching Tiger is because when I see him coming down the stretch in contention and pulling off shot after shot like he did on Sunday in the PGA, I get all the same feelings as I get when I'm playing a tournament, Pressure, Nerves, Excitement, Adrenaline, its just so exciting to watch because not only is he one of the greatest golfers to have ever lived (In my opinion The Greatest, but I get it if you say Jack is, because he is on paper) but also because he has been through so much shit the past 8 - 10 years and he is making one of the most majestic comebacks in sporting history. We have all had injuries, done something maybe we shouldn't have, Been through terrible life situations and tough times. But how good does it feel when you come out the other side of it and overcome adversity to achieve what you originally set out to do. So as a person who encourages anybody to better themselves and overcome hardship with a fist pump and a middle finger in the air to those who doubt you no matter what there low point may have been, this is why I love watching TW on the golf course. Because its simply so fucking relatable.

He just needs to close the show once to get that feeling/confidence back, even if it's just a diddy tournament, and most importantly stay injury free. I think the British Open and the PGA are his best chances of getting another major, some will argue The Masters at Augusta as well but he'd have to dramatically improve his driving for that to happen these days.

But, he does need to go into Sunday leading because although holding the lead on Sunday is the hardest thing to do, it is where he's comfortable

To dominate like he did in the late 90s and early 2000s, then go through rough patches and swing changes, dominate again, then go through more swing changes, the major life problems, the physical problems/surgeries, now to be back like this AGAIN. He doesn't need to drive it well. It's crazy, in the mid 2000s the guy could not hit a fairway! It's how he gets out of the most insane situations to make par or even birdie sometimes that has made him such a dominant and entertaining force on the tour. It's also what probably killed his back. Watching him swing at the PGA I worry he is killing his body. He claims he built his new swing around not injuring himself, but I don't buy it.

Very few golfers can erase mistakes as consistently as Tiger did here. So many remarkable shots from terrible areas. He left some strokes out there and still managed a 64 in the final round of a major. Simply incredible. Looks like he’s putting again too. Tiger has had two very Real opportunities this year to win in the majors.
The PGA was his closes in many years and it's because of his iron play. He needs to work on controlling his driver and in the mean time, he can utilize his 1 iron or 3 wood on the longer holes. He has won majors barely using his driver and can do so, once again. It's essential that he wins again prior to the next major for his own positive reinforcement,

When Tiger pulled out that driver on the par 5 with the water and out of bounds on the right i screamed at the tv for him to put it back because he was missing it right consistently. I know he had to try to get an eagle but a safe birdie strategy would have increased the pressure on Brooks going down the last 3 more than a par. Still an amazing performance by Tiger in his comeback year after about 10 back surgeries

Nicklaus started with no management company,Lear jet, swing coach, harem of poledancers,Nike contract, fawnin non-golfer idiot wanabee groupies. He won the most majors in an era of competition from the best players by their aggregate record, and he won the Masters at a later age. Tiger will never beat Jack's major record. Never!

@@billmoyer3254 Jack has played in 164 majors. Tiger has played 87 majors.

      __PGA Tour wins/attempts __
      Tiger: 82/365 = 22.47%
      Jack: 73/586 = 12.46%
Also, the field was not better back in Jack's day. Jack has even admitted that over time the field has gotten stronger. That's generally what happens because over time more people have started playing golf so there's more competition. Jack was definitely able to stay more healthy. People tend to forget how win percentage is actually the best metric of how good someone is. So in any given major, Tiger was winning more often than Jack. Same concept as in basketball shooting free throws. You measure free throw shooting ability in percentages of makes/attempts, not the cumulative number of free throws a player makes. So yeah I'd love for them on TV broadcasts when they bring up the graphic of the list of total majors won, to include number of majors played in. That would dawn the reality upon people that Jack has had the benefit of playing in 77 more majors than Tiger. So yeah I mean yeah I'd hope Jack could win 3 more majors than tiger in those extra 77 attempts.

To everyone who wants less focus on Tiger:
When Spieth shot 64 at Augusta this year to finish 3rd people celebrated the incredible performance he put on to do it, nobody complained that Spieth was being overhyped and that Reed deserved more attention but when you switch Spieth to Tiger people get angry when Tiger gets attention for incredible efforts that come up just short.
Stop complaining about a guy who has won 14 majors getting the spotlight, what was the biggest storyline in the 1998 Masters or the 2009 Open? It wasn’t Mark O’Meara or Stewart Cink, it was the legends who rolled back time and reminded everyone what they could do and no one complained about Nicklaus or Watson bias then.
