"Evernote for creatives" got me too! Vertical based notes apps dont work for my brain and Milanote has a great balance of features vs simplicity. Thanks for the vid. Looking forward to the detailed use cases 👍
It's reassuring to know I am not the only one who struggles with the square peg and round hole problem. Like most people here I am a creative and my mind does not always work in a linear manner. Like any knowledge worker I "bisociate" or connect two ideas to create a new one (Arthur Koestler) So my round peg of a mind is incompatible with square hole of most note taking apps. My mind is not unorganized it just isn't interested in finding and grouping closely related things with each other. Discovery happens by taking unrelated things and connecting them. So my mind is all over the place not moving in a linear way demanded by Notes apps. I will look at Milanotes and see if it works for me better than my Evernote account. As far as the presenter here he is articulate, personable and intelligent which is more than I can say for a lot RUclips explainers.
You are note alone. I often time think of it like assembling a puzzle. I need space dump the pieces out and spread the them out on the table so I can see the whole board, messy as it may be. Once I start seeing the associations I can start organizing and connecting them. That's where I find the most value in Milanote. I still use Evernote. But it's more of a "cold storage" for things I dont want to lose, but I'm not actively engaging with. Thanks for the kind words. 🙌

Yes... I had a friend use it to coordinate a trip for 4, all coming from different cities, to an EDM concert in Vegas.
