why do players say wait until you are Ops 61 before you build the Epic ship?

i would say build at 60 by all means, but the 7&30 day chests and multiphasic packs if you spend get so much better at 61

If you don't care about SLB events and dailies and all that you could push to 61 and catch up from there as the rewards get a lot better. Most would be wise to build a G5 epic first and tier it up a bit.
