Love Fight Camp! I've had mine for about 2 years now. The coaches are awesome and the freestanding bag has held up really well. I used the base gel originally but just recently switched to sand.
Just for your information you cannot change mass of an object via chemical reaction. The mass will stay the same, you can change the density of it, meaning how the mass is spread . The goal of this deal is to make the water more solid but not To change its weight. It means that occupy more volume and will stay more compact so that will not move around when you it and make the water rock the base .
I don’t think they mean that it will weigh 400 lbs after, that’s physically impossible… I think they mean it will take up the volume equivalent of up to 400 lbs of sand
So people are not confused it doesnt add to the weight substantially. It asorbs the water and turns it into a gel substance. It replaces the volume of sand. I use this in my polyform heavy bag.
I love your RUclips clips. I have 2 x RDX F6 free standing punch bags I use at my boxing club where the base is fille with water. Just wanted to ask if I fill the watered base with this gel does it increase the weight or is it mainly to stop water leak ?
Is there a FightCamp review coming up soon? I'm interested in trying the service for days when I can't go to the gym but all the reviews I find online are from people with no boxing experience. I want to know if it is a good supplement for actual boxing in-between gym sessions rather than just a "fun workout" for people who don't box.
I think if your base was a little taller it could potentially get up to the 400lbs with more water forming more gel. But Thanks so much for the review! I’ll head on over to amazon. My kickbag base is abt 4 ft tall, with the cushion in the highest notch, i think its about 6ft.
Thanks for letting us know about this option. I have a free stand punching bag similar to yours. I have used water in my base and noticed the instability of it and was going to switch to sand. I then noticed that sand is wildly crazy expensive and looking for an alternative. Now that some time has passed, how has the gel held up. I am not an MMA fighter and use my punching bag strictly for cardio exercise 2-3 X a week. Thanks in advance for your response! @csquareboxing

Why did you switch and how did it hold?

That’s what I was thinking
I was really hoping that you would hit the bag or kick the bag to see how well it worked. That would be the real test.

Need to see how well it works if you empty the base as well.
whats the update? Does the bag still move around? I own a gym with numerous Wavemaster pro bags, gunna probably try this if it works.
thanks for the product recommendation. will definitely look into that

Increase the weight but 80 sand 20 percent water is probably the best maybe cement and water but not sure
Great review. Thank you for sharing 😊

Yes coming soon
Can this be easily emptied out? Say if we need to empty it to move out of an apartment... It's gonna be a pain to carry over 200lbs
It says to use salt on the bag and it dehydrates the gel! I use it in mine and it works great!
