Ohh i found him again..darren gough..i use to love his bowling action..90's kid here
I used to imitate his bowling action and that of Dominic Cork and could bowl quicker than my regular action. Very compact bowling actions both of them.
aah yeah dominic cork and darren gough such nostalgia. i used to have their trump cards
Ya.. Tried his action quite a bit
i tried his action so many times in my school days😆
And also Caddick, Angus Fraser, Hoggard, Harmison.
I always remember Darren Gough's big in-swinging Yorkers with the old ball, my childhood memories.
Yeah Darren was tops - he had the curse of being world class in a mediocre English team though. If he came along 10 - 15 years later with some better backup his contributions would be better remembered.
His action is quite clean. Love this guy.
I was about to comment the same😁 he was best when it comes to inswinging Yorkers... nostalgia
The best part was that the Aussies can’t say that Smith n Warner weren’t playing......
India beat the Aussies fair n square in Australia n the icing in the cake was the GABBA has FALLEN !!!!!!
Yeah. They were always like Smith and warner wasn't there for 2018. So india defeated a half powered team. Now they can't make any excuse.
@@sudhir2445 but .. but... But....... India didn't have kohli, bumrah, Ashwin, jadeja, Umesh Yadav, Shami, ishant and played with 5 inexperienced players in the most important roles of opening batting, opening bowling, lead spinner. And the Indian team also singled out racist remarks.
...But... heyy we're Aussies we vowed to play the sport with the new found "spirit of the game" and that's why nobody saw Smith erasing the stance marks.
Basically to sum it up Aussies were unlucky and india didn't play the matches with the spirit of the game and india cheated too.
;-D
@@dystopian3342 include shami Umesh Ishant too in that list
@@dystopian3342 typical Aussie. Don't cry if u have lost to india a in the process. I know it's quite hard to digest that. But I guess you guys can't win without sandpaper. Don't worry we will provide you sandpapers as souvenirs.
@@sudhir2445 i think Dysto pian was sarcastic n in a way accepted that India won fair n square.....
In Gabba,
Gill eliminated most chances of India losing,
Pujara guaranteed atleast a draw is surely possible,
And then came main Engine power Pant with all cylinders firing, added with a Turbo Charger Washi..
Rightly said.
Pant did what only Richards could have done for WI.
aptly put man!
Nicely said man
Well Said.. I as cricket n formula 1 fan can only smile
Missed Thakur in the debutants list. He was just 10 balls old.
TF why you have my name?
Interesting dick names
I was a big fan of Darren Gough during his playing days. He was a lion hearted cricketer and always gave his very best against the Aussies. Had a fantastic bowling action, bowled lovely yorkers. Won matches for England in Australia single handed. Being an Yorkshire man he also speaks knowledgably as the great Geoff Boycott.
As a bowler he was as good as the famed Glenn McGrath, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Courtney Walsh, Curtley Ambrose and Alan Donald.
Very good bowling action
Yes
Greatest series ever , what a performance from the young guns of india
Agreed
When I was a teenager and whenever there was match between India and England, I always searched for two guys Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid from India and one guy Darren Gough from England, always felt like that it would be good to have such a bloke in our team, rough and tough & in your face kind of guy.
Not to forget...they put the final nail at the Gabba 😂😂!! Ahh that was the best icing on the cake I’ve every tasted!!
Icing on the icing on the icing on the cake and continued...
They won't say anyone to "come to Gabba" from now on.
This series has meant very little sleep for me over the last few weeks. Incredible drama... and what a tough and brave Indian side.
Current mood of aussies people after their series loss?
"PAINe in AUS"
Wrong most Australian cricket fans have great respect for the Indian victory.
@@lapalad agree with you.. i have immense respect for aus team and their fans...what I like most is, they play hard cricket and never giveup... but once they loose won't keep grudge and openly appreciate and move on....
AUS team is a gold standard in cricket world , winning them on their soil is like a winning an OSCAR...kudos to AUS team
Ha ha
Darren Gough .. seeing him after so many years.. grew up watching him as England's main spearhead.. haha.. good to see him again
Aur be smooch king, kya haal he ?
Test cricket at its best , india had only only one worst session
@@iNavmit :be humble in our win
@@dharminacharya we don't need to be. The Aussie were always gave excuse that 2018 loss happened bcuz of absence of Smith and warner.
@@sudhir2445 I know brother but still celebrate but still be humble like Rahane.
@@akshatabhishek3569 like Rohit said once :- rahane aeda banke peda khilata hai😂
@@iNavmit lol Australia will come back with a point to prove - they always do xD
Don't get too cocky my spicy brown friend 😜
Well said goughy
This series is the greatest 🔥❤
For india it is.....overall it's the ashes 2005 and India Australia 2001 series in India was much much better in terms of quality cos they were gr8 sides then
@@amitm2692 .what do u remember only playing follow on in 2001 ??
Here we hv 36 all-out .. victory in MCG ... Ashwin Bihari batting for 45 overs ...and win in Brisbane under tough circumstances ....
@@jitusingh2609 boss with due respect to u and ur sentiments those players were legends and that era was something else......this present Australian team is not even a shade of those gr8s.....iv been watching cricket for 35 yrs now and hv seen some memorable matches in the past...for me India vs Pakistan test series in India in 1999 was the best series in terms of opposition played and the circumstances around that series ....no disrespect to this Indian team ...they played outstanding but everyone is entitled to their opinions
@@amitm2692 Bhai those matches were played in subcontinental 2001 or 1999 ..that's why people recon this win greatest ever...as it was played in overseas..where players r not use to ...
Do u remember any interesting series Asian team wining in aus Africa or England????
@@jitusingh2609 dravid's team beat England in England in 2007...go chk it out on RUclips.....ganguly drew in Australia 1-1 in 2003 and that Australian team was arguably the best....i can go on and on buddy but there's no point of debate here ....I'm a purist & iv been watching test matches for over 35 yrs buddy and hv seen some unbelievable cricket that I can recall even on my finger tips.......I agree this series was fantastic and india played out of its skin to beat Australia ...but let's not get carried away by this sudden dominance of our team down under......our full strength team got hammered in England new Zealand and south Africa although we competed in south Africa......if u read and watch the news columns written by respected cricket journalists and videos of some former cricketers and experts on RUclips you will know bad Australia and tim Paine's captaincy was this series ......I'm not taking any credit away from our team but it's always good to hear from other team's perspective and how everyone is questioning his tactics. .I can tell you one thing.....a Michael Clarke or a Ricky Ponting wouldn't hv let this series slip like Paine did.......captaincy matters as much as good batting or bowling
Oh Darren... glad to see you again after the golden age of 90s
He is the one against whom Sachin played helicopter shot.
@@alinjardan8501 If you're referring to world cup one, that wasn't a halicopter shot. That was the greatest pull I have ever seen. One of mightiest six ever.
He is the one with 464 international wickets. More than what you’re making him out to be, Darren gough was a fantastic bowler.
Dat shot was against Andy caddick....
@@joek7277 bro, when did I tell you that he was not a great bowler. He was indeed a great bowler, but that was my first match I see so I recognise him by that match.

Gough took a hattrick in Sydney in the early part of 2000 to win England a test match in a series which Aus won comfortably
Emamul Arfeen 1998-99
@@MegaNarsinha yeah i was unsure abt the year
@Prathamesh walaikumusalam bhaiya... Kaise ho?
I was there, SCG January 1999.
England didn’t actually win in Sydney, Australia did. But England had just won in Melbourne.
Good to see you again Gough after a very long time in those 90s you were one of my favs 😀
You missed Thakur.. he only bowled 10 balls in his last test.
still it's like a debut, he bowled only 10 balls and got injured
Well narrated Sir Gough.
There are no excuses this time.
Ankur kundu yes kundu
@Mayur Kanth kuch bhi
Sir ,that win of 2 runs was one of best against all-time massive squad of aussies, even as an Indian kid I had goosebumps in final inning
Darren Gough. For 90s kids, his action was amongst the ones we would copy.
Defeated Australia with Thier best player
So nice to see Good Ol' Gough! Used to copy his bowling action back in the day. ❤️
Gough always remember your beautiful bowling action
Darren Gough is my childhood hero, i modelled my bowling action inspired by him.
Don't model your eating habits after him though!
@@handsolo1209 he was same hefty machine in playing days .
"Supposed to be quality bowling attack" summarize the performance of aussies in this series. I would like to say aussies were so arrogant in this series. and just thrashed
From historic loss to historic victory this happen in movies🤯
Bench Strength of team India is vry gud...well done boys
Long time Darren Gough .... Good to see you after years. You were an absolute champion.
Good to see you again Gough ..what a bowler he was ..short in stature, brisk run and and very fast
Wow Aftr such a long time i have seem D arren G..i used to copy his action during school days.😀..so happy to see him🤩
It's good to see u again after so many years..all childhood memories..
Who can't love the passion of Darren Gough! Big heart comes through. Loved his passion for England and him calling India win in Aus as bigger win than '05 Ashes England win!.. Some guys don't have to be perfect and they're still no1 and must have in your celebration or musings - they go right at it from the heart. I've listened to a ton of comments but something about Darren Gough - that honesty, whole heartedness and passion - he is among the ones you'd want to listen in (esp. among the ex players, even if like others he may not have best comments, but you know from a lover of cricket he is how those viewing from outside see it). I'd hope he gets into straight up commentary ahead of some (not sure why) blokes for e.g. during Ind Aus broadcast. Cheers Darren!
I love the way gouph explanaing every minute detailing....... Thank u Darren Gouph.
Nice to see this guy after a long long time he has grown old what a fantastic player he was
Cheers to Derren Gough! Calling it as you see it! Great analysis!
In Gabba where Australia didn't lose a match mora than 20+ years .
This is fucking incredible.

They called it Fortress....Fortress (chuckles)
Now it's Fort Retires...with Paine of course..
Jdee a comment is the best I have witnessed deserve the best compliment
& 29 visitors in 32 year's.
I cant believe he is derren gough..i saw him when i was in my childhood
Dear Darren Gough ...love from India... We always liked the way you bowled and smiled when some one hits a 4 or 6
Hoggard and Gough 🔥⚡
Paines batting wasn't the issue, his keeping was the issue at crucial moments. I think he averaged 40 with the bat which is v respectable at 7.
@Darren Gough: Man you have changed a lot, Good to see you back always loved your bowling action.
Great leadership by Rahane, strong cricket of India and never give up attitude of all the players were the reasons for series win of India..
we're actully worried if we'll find 11 boys standing for the India-England series. so many injuries, its a total mess. but a memorable win none the less.
We won 3-1
Good to hear from someone who played in our times.. Darren Gough👍
Darren Gough ❤️.. Bowling those Legendary Inswingers on Talksport .. used to Love his Bowling Action back in the 90s
ohh wow love to see him after years...indian fan here
2005 ashes was the romance
2021 gaba was bang bang
Not bang bang.It was actually a Gang bang done by India's young brigade of debutants😂
The Legend Darren Gough. Loved your bowling mate...... Cheers
Darren Gough, "I ate and drank like a hog!" ..still deadly fast! I love this guy and don't forget the beauty of a ball that castled Mark Waugh!
One of my favourite crickters , mostly for his attitude on and off the field and especially after this interview 🙂
Very well said Darren 5 debutantes with the series victory for the second time in Australian soil these folks maid this impossible to possible.
Indian love the way Darren speaks about Indian cricket team. Great words good commentary. Nice Darren please comment more on Indian series we love it. God bless u.
Got goosebumps listening to his description. Without a doubt, among the very best series win for India of all time.
Great analysis by Darren.
Hearted performance by Indian team.
😊😍
Seems gaugh has keen interest in series from the word ago
Always loved Darren
Darren Gough is a childhood hero for his bowling accuracy and all round abilities.
He's been really kind honest and sweet in analysing Indian win. Truth prevails.
Tx Gough... we still miss u after those years .. ❤
Somedays before Dravid sir felt sad about youngsters throughing the chances which they won't get back and now youngsters have made their teacher proud by playing well ...always a teacher will feel sad but will feel happy once their prayers are answered...
Appreciate your respect Darren
The game was very good and fun to watch.
Both teams played their best.
Salute to Indian and Australian players 🇮🇳 🇦🇺
Nasir Hussain buddy bowler Gough spot on the excellent analysis on epical victory
I love Darren's bowling action.
He is like Bumrah, Cummins forces things to happen takes and sets up wickets out of nowhere
*was he's retired now 😂😂😂
Always love and tried many times his bowling action
One of the greatest test series i have ever seen in my life ❤️
I still remember DG bowling in blue Red shirt like yesterday, I'm getting old.
oh Darren !!!! found you....favorite bowling...80's and 90's kids can understand my feeing
I shaped my bowling action after Gough. Most bowlers would have the typical 2 finger hold, Gough had 3 finger, middle on seam, index and ring on the sides. I found it so cool, Used it during high school cricket. Thanks for the test match memories Gough, always a class act.
One of my favourite ever England players. One of the few guys in our team that stood up to that great Australian team in the 90’s.
Greatest series win! Great performance by India.
Darren Gough was very gracious to say that this win even bigger than 2005. Respect from India.
Dareen Gough 🔥❤️ one player to check in my childhood.
India are way ahead of any time, d mental strength n conditioning of d players, d willpower n domestic structure is second to none, Australia n other teams have a lot to catch up now, specially in test cricket, just look at india's bench strength man, amazing
India is a good team but still lots of work need to be done
One of the best bowling action Darren gough 👌
very good analytical unbiased sum-up of the series and definitely one of the best in recent years. See Ashes was and will be a good series but this kind of thrill a minute roller coaster ride type of series we hardly have witnessed in a long long time and the icing on the cake is no top players in indian team except a couple and almost young and debutants won the series, this was more like a fight between david v's goliath or i should say Mohammad Ali v's George Foreman in Kenya.
If i could sum up this series I would say only these 3 words: resilient, fearless, exhaustive (both mentally and physically).
Big fan Darren gough used to love your action
Test cricket at Its Best., thank you to both India and Australia for such a wonderful experience
Really Indian cricket team have achieved something unbelievable so now world praises it
Gough I was your best fan Love from India sir respect from India
Nice to see u after a long time darren sir
Darren Gough Legend, very well said.... u shud start tweeting such stuff
Gough was my England favourite as a kid! Tough beefy guy swinging the ball, hitting big sixes!
Darren as honest as always.... absolutely honest on his assessment...
I am glad I have been witness of this series. Which probably happens something like that once in century...
Yeahh Goughi 😍😍
and lost all the tosses in those 3 matches. batting 4th
One of my favourite bolwer Gough
Now , all these efforts goes to Sir Rahul Dravid..
He is behind this strong youngster of india.❤️
But this should be now cautiously approached..
My suggestion.
Make 3 india teams..we have the depth..
Play one as the international..the other two match ready by playing against each other.
Then we can do justice to the talent and enormous depth in India..otherwise only the lucky will make it

Darren gough! The most beautiful n graceful bowling action guy of the 90s. No one was even close to him.. Fidel Edwards action is similar but Darren was the og!
