    Legs, 6 Pre-Knotted Pheasant Tail Fibres
    Wing, Well Marked Roe Deer

    Thanks again Davie, I will try to tie this one up and add another great pattern to my skill set and fly box.

    There is a reason I get alerts from your posts! I need to tie up some Drakes and this is exactly the lesson I needed. :-) Outstanding work Davie! Thanks for posting.     I was always a bit wary of trying a detached body fly but you explained it perfectly Davie, thanks for that!!.
    I've been trying out some bead eyed damsel type nymphs, have you got anything in your video box of wonders?.
