I would rather they both go toe to toe a few more times, then gain each other's respect. Rivalry turned into friendship. Dont have to be the closest of friends. A bit like Harvey and Sean
Charles was above anyone , he made harvey sweat and scared him sometimes with badass billionaire attitudes and tone and giving no way out , harvey was only able to beat him with mic on his body , which is unethical in mafia / illegal / bull fights but was totally lawful for harvey to do it.
Tanner lost once. The second time it was because Hardman gave him false evidence to start with in the first place so it was a lose either ways. There was no third since he wasn't really fighting. And Harvey beat Tanner by threatening to perjure himself so basically he won by breaking the law
@@thatonenoob7854 Harvey didn't break the law, he threatened to break it. which he was only able to do because Tanner broke the law (witness tampering) in the first place. Also, it wasn't a fair fight. Tanner came looking for a fight and already had a fully formed strategy, right down to how he was going to goad Harvey into taking the case ("Bringing up state championships, that's just..that's wrong").
Donna was an overconfident character who was outplayed by so many people. She was played by hardman where she was more focused on the fact she made a mistake and shredded the cm memo, she was cracked by louis in 5 mins about mike, she shat the bed and took 5th on Mike's trial which made case worse, she shat bricks in front of malik, and there's a lot more. She was a secratary but writers tried making her a goddess who knew everything and was too smart. Fun Fact: she was weak and relied on harvey or someone else her entire life. Not to mention when she was out played by the building owner and she ran to rachel for rescue
@@shwetamahulikar3376 I don't agree completely with you there, she failed in all her roles through out the show, as a secratary and as a COO. Her servival was solely based on having harvey around for her. To me it was Jessica who was the strongest character in this entire show, followed by harvey and then mike. Donna and rachel were poor, one destroyed evidence just because she couldn't digest that she made a mistake, and other one cheated on mike, and made mike cheat on jenny too
I wish there was an episode or a storyline where one of Harvey’s big villains find out about Mike’s secret. I don’t know what would be worse, Fortsman or Tanner finding out, but it’d be hella interesting
Instead we got Anita Gibbs who was horrible. Gibbs couldn’t even convince a jury 💀. Trav is my favorite rivalry between Harvey but Sean Cahill was the best lawyer they went up against
The most unbelievable thing about Tanner is that he never found out about Mike. He found out things about Scottie, Donna, Harvey. Never figured Mike out.
Man whatta screen presence this guy had🔥. The makers should've shown him more. And idk why I couldn't find him in any of the other shows I've seen till date😩. Even Louis' sister... The one with a very little guest appearance is one of the main in persons of interest
Seasons 1 and 2 were peak TV entertainment! Just brilliant, marvellous! W/e you wanna call em. 3 and 4 had moments, but the decline was already obvious. Got so repetitive... 5 turned things round and was amazing for the most part! 6 also had some great moments(Jessica on court), but it was getting ridiculous more often than not. 7 was unbearable and got me to drop it. I'll always remember the first 2 seasons, but overall there are better shows out there.
Enemy/Lawyers rival rankings according to me in suits 1.) Faye Richardson 2.) Anita Gibbs 3.) Andrew Malik 4.) Daniel Hardman 5.) Charles Fortsman 6.) Tanner 7.) Elliot Stemple 8.) Cameron Dennis 9.) Stephen Huntley 10.) Frank Gallo
4:57 Jessica knows about his hurt shoulder in the college state championship game and how it applies with that off the cuff reference… but Harvey didn’t know she was married?
And thus Uncle Travis has been born. I still think this is a nice way to learn who each other is. 1:45 I still love how they get used to each other right away hmmmm. Interesting
Tanner was the only Lawyer who could rattle Harvey, really get under his skin.....and also had the ilk to go head to head with Harvey! Sad that the show always showed Harvey winning, coz that's just not the way it works.....and Tanner deserved a win, even though Harvey would ultimately come out on top overall! Tanner was .......The perfect Adversary! Harvey had the utmost respect for Travis' capabilities!
When people or characters of the show make conclusions such as “Harvey > Tanner” it’s just so ridiculuous how wrong they are. There was always Mike helping Harvey and i honestly can’t blame tanner for losing to THIS powerful duo... 1v1 I don’t think it’s clear who would take down the other
I have being watching alot of suits lately. Just an observation, how come when the other lawyers come to Pearson Spector Litt firm, they mostly come on their own to deposition etc, such as a Eliot stemple, he was on his own, he didn't have associate with him. It was same when nick Rinaldi came, he came on his own, without associate. It was same with Travis Tanner, he came on his own with no associate. Yet Harvey always has his associate Mike beside him.
Love this episode!
Harvey: "You're Travis Tanner?!"
Tanner: "You've heard of me?"
Harvey: "No." 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
“i’m calling security… DONNA!” 💀💀
“That dough bag tennis player is on the line” 😂
I wish Tanner and Harvey had some more episodes with one another but working together. They'd be a deadly combination.
Yeah, after Travis turned his life around, It would have been great to see them work together just once
@@realmdarkness ya 2 rivals united for a common cause. Sounds poetic
Could’ve been like mike and Robert working together earlier in the series

Tanner and spectre is the same beast they cant be put in the same pack facts
"I'm against having emotions- not against using them." Facts.
Gangsta words. Peak wisdom 101
"you want me to get you a autograph?"
few days later...
"told you id get his autograph"
Travis Tanner was the my favorite Villain in Suits he gave Harvey a fight & kept coming at him, 2nd best was Charles Forestman👍
Worst was andrew malik, idk what happened
Charles was above anyone , he made harvey sweat and scared him sometimes with badass billionaire attitudes and tone and giving no way out , harvey was only able to beat him with mic on his body , which is unethical in mafia / illegal / bull fights but was totally lawful for harvey to do it.
@@daorbuhst4937bro Malik lost when Mike left Harvey 😂
Charles Forstman. One of Eric Roberts' best roles. Although Eric manages to bring a bit of class to pretty much every role he plays.
Great introduction to a character like tanner, wish he had an associate like mike, it would've made the playing field even.
There should have been more episodes with them two facing off. Great rivalry. Harvey though is on another level. There's no one like him.
I think Harvey got away because of Mike being his robin.

I kinda like how travis was polite to Me upon meeting him, shows he’s somewhat normal when he’s not on the hunt.
It was completely self serving though. He did it so he could get his name so he could use that name to get past Donna.
Pretty sure he was pretending that one.
Travis tanner was the best antagonist of the show
this rivalry was amazing. travis was prefect in is role
Agreed
My favourite rivalry in this show. Harv vs Trav.
And then Jessica v Hardman
😂
Cahill was entertaining
The battle of harvard vs yale too (Travis went to Yale)

The most unbelievable thing about Tanner is that he never found out about Mike.
He found out things about Scottie, Donna, Harvey. Never figured Mike out.
Hard to find what you have no reason to look for
Mike was a small fry for most of the show before he left. Travis had no reason to care about him
The boxing scene with Travis is one of my favorites.
